All a bit racey at the moment...
Freddie has been riding West Midlands Cyclo-cross League in the under 10s, I've been doing the over 60s category. Starting to get muddy and fun already.
I actually won a race last weekend, over 40s 10 mile road bike time trial in Worcester. Well pleased with that.. First win in a few years.

Cyclo-cross season is under way....
Freddie and myself took on the West Mids League round 1 at Redditch, not sure who had the hardest race, .. well probably Freddie, a 10 minute race ended up being 20mins and on the course for the older kids after the organisers mucked it up, haha, look like hard work for the under 10s! Well done mate.
I am now in the 60+ age group, back of the grid start, chaos racing 130 riders phewph... sprinted for 99th place and got it :-D

Takeaways from today... Freddie.... get off and run when you need to and get back on after the top of the hill... Steve go back to the old bike, it was faster!!

Fred is off to Shrewsbury next week while I have 2 weeks off cross but a 10 mile tt coming up on the 17th Sept with another new racer Sam Nickless who is training hard!

Racing news.... Steve and Sam have a couple of time trials coming up, Weston and Worcester 10 milers ... Training was somewhat curtailed last night when Sam's pedal fell off.... my how we laughed..

Young Freddy is doing the BSCA regional champs grasstrack race on Saturday... good luck mate !! We'll come and cheer you on.
