**FULL TIME**

Thurrock Thameside 4
Chingford Harriers 2

A very confusing outing where we completely dominated the first 20mins and could have been 2/3 goals up, only to find ourselves 3-0 15 minutes later…

Two late goals from Richard & Will (both assisted by Cedric!) made the scoreline a little more respectable but 3 losses in a row just isn’t good enough.

🏟️ Thames RFC, South Ockendon, RM15 5JU

Back to league action, and needing a win after 2 frustrating weekends, the lads will be looking for a positive response as we head to face familiar faces at their new venue!

**FULL TIME**

Chingford Harriers 1
Harold Wood Athletic B 2

An early exit from the Essex Saturday Junior Trophy, as we are sent out by an organised & motivated youthful side!

A sleeping backline gave the opposition an easy 1v1 to go ahead, but Will then bundled home the ball before half time to equalise for us!

Second half was a more even affair, but a speculative scissor kick volley found the back of the net to seal the win for Harold Wood. A questionable decision to deny a rather obvious penalty for us killed any chance of taking the game to extra time.

Credit has to go to our opposition, who simply looked like they wanted it a lot more than us!

**FULL TIME**

Buckhurst Way 3
Chingford Harriers 1

An own goal opened the scoring for us, and then the opposition decided to adopt the venue’s primary focus - by literally spending the game rugby tackling us… what made it worse was the ref allowing it and instead given our players verbal 🤷🏼‍♂️

Two late strikes sealed the points for the opposition who will be celebrating what will likely be one of their very few wins this season!

**Man Of The Match vs Haringey United**

Saturday’s game saw Andrew take the Man of the Match award after an incredible 3 goals - was there ever going to be anyone else?!! I’m sure the opposition RB is glad Saturday is over 🤣

Well done Andrew!⁩ 🔵⚪️

If it’s wasn’t the attack’s day last week, it’s definitely not the defence’s this week 🤣🫣

A poorly marshalled first goal by our GK for the opposition and then followed by two goals where we left people completely free in the 6 yard box for easy efforts 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s not been pretty recently, so a flurry of goals and another 3 points on the board is a positive result! A hatty from Andrew, a pen from Aaran, and an own goal seal the win, assists from Will x1, & Connor x1
