Meet Theeban Tavarasa: 🏏 A member of RLSSC since 2020. Originally from Sri Lanka moved to the UK and has made big strides in the professional game .Theeban was the first Jaffna born to play for Cambridge MCCU where he made his first class debut in 2007. He has also proudly represented Essex 2's. Not only is he a gun player he is one of the best coaches in Essex and an all round lovely guy . Meet Ryan Karunakaran, a remarkable talent in our RLSSC team, continuing a proud legacy started by his father, Karunakaran, who also played for us. Originally from Sri Lanka, Ryan has been showcasing his extraordinary skills on the field for a long time. At just 21, he’s not only play for us he represented the Ireland Under-19 team but has also made his mark in Ireland’s major cricket clubs. His recent achievement as the best batsman, highlighted by scoring a century, speaks volumes about his dedication and talent. Ryan’s dream is to play for the National Ireland team, and given his track record, we’re confident that he will achieve this goal. We’re incredibly proud to have him with us and wish him all the best in his journey towards representing Ireland on the international stage. Go Ryan!
