A big away game in a big stadium against a very good team... and we're READY for it 💪🔥
Last time we met, we were locked at 6-6 at half-time before tiring in the final 10 minutes and allowing KR to do what they do best – score tries.
Since that day, we've had an outstanding run of form and haven't lost a game. The hard work, preparation and commitment from this group has been brilliant, and we've had a fantastic build-up to this one.
The challenge is huge, but so is the belief in this squad. Time to test ourselves against one of the best and show how far we've come.
Let's go, Eagles! 🦅

Annabelle, proudly sponsored by Artisan Tiling, is one of those players whose contributions can sometimes go under the radar because she consistently does the basics so well and makes very few mistakes.
A powerful forward, Annabelle is always willing to take on the tough carries through the middle, making the hard metres that help the team gain momentum. She never shies away from the physical side of the game, putting her hand up time and time again when the team needs her most.
Defensively, she is strong and reliable, while in attack her running lines and option-running keep opposition defensive lines guessing. At Premier Division level, games are often decided by which pack wins the arm wrestle, and Annabelle is regularly at the heart of that battle.

There's a reason why Grace is our captain, and on Saturday she showed exactly why.
When selecting their Player of the Match, Normanton's coach summed her performance up perfectly: "She controlled everything." Grace was at the heart of everything the team did, organising play, setting up great attacking lines, and ensuring the team stayed on the front foot throughout the game.
Defensively, she put in some huge tackles, while in attack she broke the line on numerous occasions, causing problems every time she got the ball in hand. Combined with her strong mindset and determination, Grace truly led from the front and set the standard for those around her.

Kaycee, delivered an outstanding performance that earned the opposition's vote for Player of the Match.
Showing excellent speed, agility, and strength with the ball in hand, Kaycee caused problems for the Wibsey defence all game. Her powerful running and ability to find space made her a constant threat whenever she got involved, and it was easy to see why the opposition selected her for this award.
