โ๐ป WELCOME HARRY โ๐ป
We are delighted to announce the signing of Harry M! Harry will bring energy and aggression to the team, a box to box midfielder who can score goals too! Big signing to kick off the summer ๐ฅ๐
The boys are currently enjoying a well earned break from football but now that the seasons over we are now looking to recruit for 2025/26. Our first few sessions back in the summer will be โopen training sessionsโ for new players or anyone interested in coming down can give us a try and see if we might be the team for you.
The first one will be Wednesday 18th June 6:30pm-8:30pm @ our new home at The Oaks, Culcheth, WA3 6BG. We play at a high level and offer both Saturday & Sunday football under the same team. Training will be Wednesdays (a second training session may also be added next season) at the oaks in the summer and Great Sankey hub in the winter. Either drop us a message or just turn up on the night - please share!

LCFA u13s Final 2025!
Beaten finalists on the night, the boys gave it everything but a long hard season took its toll and we were unable to lay a glove on our opponents - well done & congratulations to Liver, a team full of quality and a level above at the age group.
What a group we have here and what a season theyโve had. Done us all proud with the football theyโve played and how they carry themselves on & off the pitch, last night was another example of that. Great experience and achievement getting to the last two in a big county like Liverpool, little break now before we get to celebrate the year with them at our presentation night. Thanks to everyone who came to support the boys. ๐

Our season isnโt done just yetโฆ
The Liverpool FA County Cup Final is this Friday night at Walton Hall Park, The Home of Everton Women. Come and support the boys if you can. Itโs a difficult opponent but weโre not just happy to take part and this group we have always leave it all on the pitch. Letโs enjoy it all together! ๐๐๐

Weekend in WARWICK - a good time was had by all!
Before a ball was kicked, the lads were presented with their league winners medals and trophy. The weekend didnโt go as well as we would have liked but no excuses, fair play and congratulations to all of our opponents. Some brilliant teams and players that made it difficult for us to perform at our best. Itโs been a fantastic season and the weekend gave us all a chance to celebrate together whilst providing memories thatโll last a lifetime for our brilliant players, parents, siblings and families.

Boys working hard in the sun today! Continuing our preparation for our upcoming finals over the next two weekends; they were given access to our new home at The Oaks and it was in superb condition. One more training session in the week and weโll be ready to go ๐

๐๐ CHAMPIONS ๐๐ It was confirmed over the weekend that the boys had been crowned JPL Champions of the North West Premier Division which is thoroughly deserved. AFC Fylde pushed us all the way but with us only dropping 5 points all season, we proved too tough to catch. Weโre thrilled that the lads have something to show for their efforts this season and we will now go on to Warwick University to compete with other league winners and qualifiers from around the country for the national prize. We look forward to being presented with our winners medals and league trophy during that weekend in Warwick. Pressure off slightly with one in the bag but hopefully thereโs more to come. ๐๐ป๐

Last week we made the long journey upto Workington where we might of needed just a point to win the league title, depending on other results. Playing into a strong wind and maybe with some nerves, the game was 0-0 at half time. We reminded the lads to play the football that theyโve been playing all season to get in this position and the goals soon came. 6 goals in the end from 6 different scorers which was pleasing for everyone and the job almost done. MOM Luke Rosterne for his all round play and calm finish when we needed it most. +3 much needed points. ๐๐๐ป

Just the one game for the lads this weekend and that was their final league game in the Wigan JFL. It was a dominant performance from start to finish and a convincing win with goals spread around the team. 3 fantastic strikes and two headers gave us a 5 goal margin. MOM was for an assured display at left back, containing the oppositions liveliest player and playing forward with purpose.
The boys can be proud of their efforts in the Sunday league, often playing with low numbers but always tough to beat and winning the majority of games. ๐
