Well done Ashton! 👏⚽️

A really good performance today. He looked more of a threat in attack, got himself into some great positions and caused the opposition problems throughout the game. He was unlucky not to get himself on the scoresheet today, with the goal just not quite coming for him.

He worked incredibly hard for the team, never stopped trying and gave everything right until the final whistle. 💪

Keep working hard and keep being a threat going forward, Ashton — that goal will come! ⚽️👏

⭐ Managers’ Player – Theo ⭐

What a performance from Theo today! 👏⚽️

He gave absolutely everything from the first whistle to the last and genuinely didn’t stop running. An absolute beast in the middle of the pitch, causing problems for the opposition all game and battling for every ball. 💪

His energy, effort and determination were brilliant to watch. He never switched off, kept working for the team and gave us everything he had right until the final whistle.

A top performance, Theo — absolutely deserved! 🏆👏💚

FINAL DAY - good luck 💚

ONE OF OUR OWN NEEDS OUR HELP 💚

One of our own, Ste Worral, recently took on the challenge of Born Survivor — but sadly, what started as an incredible challenge ended in a horrific injury.

Ste broke his leg in two places and has since undergone major surgery. While the surgery is behind him, his long road to recovery is only just beginning.

But this is where our community comes in!

We’re Orford — and if one of us falls, we all help each other back up. 🤝

To show our support for Ste and his family, two of our coaches, John and Mike, will be taking on their own challenge:

📅 Starting 22nd September

That’s 100K over 10 days, all to help raise funds for Ste as he begins this incredibly tough journey.

🏆 COACHES’ MAN OF THE MATCH – HARRISON & LYLE 🏆

Two Coaches’ Man of the Match awards today, and for me it had to be both of our defenders! 👏

Harrison & Lyle were absolutely rock solid at the back. The defending was brutal when it needed to be, but they were also both so calm on the ball and did a brilliant job of playing their way out of danger.

They made life an absolute nightmare for their forwards all game — never giving them a moment, winning their battles and making sure nothing came easy.

A proper defensive performance from both of them today. 💪

Brilliant lads — absolutely deserved! 💚🖤

🏆 PARENTS’ MAN OF THE MATCH – THEO 🏆

Another outstanding performance from Theo today! 👏

He completely controlled that midfield for us, worked his socks off from start to finish and genuinely didn’t stop running. His energy and work rate were brilliant, and he was involved in everything we needed in the middle of the pitch.

I was especially pleased to see him get that goal towards the end — well deserved after the shift he put in today! ⚽️👏
