The Wanderers bounced back from last week’s narrow defeat with a strong victory over Birtley Town BA.

🔥 Kurt continues his flying start to the season with 4 goals in 2 appearances, while Thomas, Alex and Anth all got themselves on the scoresheet too.

A brilliant result and plenty of momentum to take into next weekend as we head to Downhill Hub to face Velocity away.

🔥LAST GAME = WIN FOR WANDERERS

The Wanderers finish the last game of the season on a high with a 4-2 victory over Board Inn FC. Some fantastic goals scored from Tommy, Jamie and Kurt today wrapping up a successful season for the team.

🤌Another 3 Points On The Board

Sunday seen the start of a run which will see the Wanderers play 9 games in 3 weeks , the first of which resulting in a win against bogey team Wear United.

A brilliant first half saw the Wanderers ease into halftime 6-1 up but after the break the foot was let off the gas a bit too heavily as the final score ended in 7-5 to Wanderers.

Some great football to take from the first half but they can not afford to let the same mistakes happen again and ease off the game as we play second in the league on Tuesday night. UP THE WANDERERS.

👍MIDWEEK WIN FOR WANDERERS

A fantastic game last night as Wanderers came from 2-0 down to secure a 3-2 win against Wear United.

Goals from Jamie Mundy, Debutant Connor Scott and a last minute winner from Jamie to seal the win.

🏆Defeat in the Anth Topping Memorial Cup.

A tough one to take for the Wanderers as they just fall short to Division 3 side Willow Pond. A frantic first half with a missed penalty from Willow pond in the first half later lead to Wanderers breaking through from Hurst and winning a penalty after his shot was palmed off the line by the Willow defender.

Willow pond went down to 10 men and Jed slotted his penalty well to lead the Wanderers into half time 1-0 up.

The second half efforts did not live up to the same standard however, after another penalty call which was dismissed by the referee, Willow scored from a cross into the box (debatably offside…).

With 10 mins left of the game, Willow got a second from a fantastic strike from 30-40 yards out into the bottom corner. Wanderers failed to grab an equaliser and credit to the 10 men Willow Pond on grabbing the victory.

📰A great 4-0 win today with goals coming from Jed in the first half with a tidy finish in-between the keepers legs to send the lads 1-0 up. Guerin then produced a great close range save just before the half time whistle to keep his clean sheet intact.

Second half was more of the same with Jed grabbing a second from a penalty and Nas with an acrobatic kick to grab the third. Jed hit a great chop turn past the defender in the closing stages and slotted the ball into the top corner to seal his hat trick and the 3 points for Wanderers.

Fantastic debut performances from Kurt, Jake and Jaymie today too.

Wanderers are back after the Easter break to welcome in a relentless schedule.
