🌟 Emotional support for children 🌟
Sometimes children don’t have the words to explain how they’re feeling. But they can draw a picture of whatever comes to mind and tell a story about it. And through drawing and storytelling children can process and make sense of the feelings they couldn’t explain directly.
Drawing and Talking therapy can support children who are experiencing:
⭐ stress
⭐ anxiety
⭐ bullying
⭐ school avoidance
⭐ trauma or emotional distress
⭐ family separation
⭐ low self esteem
This is a 12 week intervention and each session lasts 30 minutes.
Cost: £30 per session

Mental Health Awareness Week 💚
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, and as a parent and family coach I want to raise awareness of how important both parents and children’s mental health are.
This week is a reminder that mental health matters at every age — and that small moments of connection, understanding and support can make a big difference.
The theme this year is ‘take action’… what can you do to make a change? What small actions can you take to look after your own mental health or that of your child?
Whether it’s checking in with your children, asking how their day has been, giving them time to share their worries or empathising when they feel frustrated, it all makes a difference. Looking after yourself matters too. Asking for help, slowing down for a moment, doing something you enjoy… it all counts.
Let’s continue creating spaces where both children and parents feel heard, valued and supported. 💚

As a Parent and Family Coach, a lot of what I do centres around parents looking after themselves. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so your own wellbeing has to come first.
Check out my new blog post, aimed at tired and overwhelmed mums, with some tips for how to look after yourself and your own wellbeing.
Make time for mummy!
Taking care of yourself as well as your children...When I became a mum, I knew it would be exhausting and incredibly challenging. From the moment I met my twins I was absolutely in love and amazed that I had brought these two perfect little babies into the world. But now I realise that nothing prepa...

Here’s my first post with some money saving ideas for free days out in the Easter holidays:
Free family fun for the holidays!
The school holidays can be a stressful time as there's a lot of pressure to make the most of the days and fill them with lots of activities. Children need time to relax too, so days at home spent quietly chilling and doing simple activities can be just as much needed as action packed days out. And d...

Parent support
I’m a mum of twins and a Parent and Family Coach, with lots of experience and additional training in SEN. I work with parents and help them to create happier and calmer homes. We talk about what they’re finding challenging and we make a plan for how to make things better.
I help parents to:
✅ Understand why their children behaviour may be challenging
✅ Manage meltdowns
✅ Talk more and shout less
✅ Learn better ways to talk to their children and be listened to
✅ Build better relationships in their family
✅ Help their children to understand their emotions
✅ Teach their children how to regulate their behaviour
If you’re finding family life challenging, you’re exhausted and feeling the effects of the constant stress and you don’t know how to manage your children’s behaviour or emotional needs, then I can help.

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week, and it’s something that is especially close to my heart.
In the work I do, I meet so many children who are anxious, overwhelmed, or just struggle to understand and manage their big emotions. I also work with parents who see their children’s struggles and desperately want to help but aren’t always sure how.
Mental health isn’t just about crisis or something that is negative. Giving children language to understand their emotions and tools to manage them can help to promote positive mental health.
Raising emotionally healthy children starts with awareness — and continues with connection, compassion, and support. Opening up conversations allows children to feel heard and seen.
Big feelings often start small. But small steps make a big difference.
If you’re looking for guidance, message me to discuss how I can help 💛

It’s been a busy week! Amongst it all, I’ve worked with one child supporting her to manage big emotions, and another using Drawing and Talking Therapy to help her to process her anxiety. Plus some sessions focussing on understanding emotions and challenging negative thoughts and reactions.
I’m now booking sessions for February and through till March, so get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
