Do you check your weight every Monday?

It might be a huge MISTAKE! ๐Ÿคญ

You go out, enjoy food and drinks with your friends and then you get on Monday and you check your weight and you get so frustrated because other than that you did everything well during the week but you had a day that everything went down the hole.

DON'T PANICK! ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

If you put on weight most of it is water and stools ๐Ÿ’ฉ

To put on weight, you will need to eat 7.700 kcal and in 2 days that is IMPOSSIBLE! ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

You had a great weekend so don't put yourself down when it comes to Monday.

Just go back to your meal plan and training schedule and in 2 days you will be fine again ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't forget to drink a lot of water also!

Do you know what to eat before a training session?

How many times we open the cupboards to eat something before a session and we have no idea what to eat?!

Good nutrition can help your body perform better and recover faster after each workout.

Optimal nutrient intake prior to exercise will not only help you maximize your performance but also minimize muscle damage.

The timing of your meal is also an important aspect of pre-exercise nutrition.

To maximize the results of your training, try to eat a complete meal containing carbs, protein and fat 2โ€“3 hours before you exercise.

However, in some cases, you may not be able to get in a full meal 2โ€“3 hours before working out.

In that case, then you can still eat a decent pre-workout meal. However, keep in mind that the sooner you eat before your workout, the smaller and simpler the meal should be.

If you eat 45โ€“60 minutes prior to your workout, choose foods that are simple to digest and contain mainly carbs and some protein.

This will help prevent any stomach discomfort during exercise.

many times have you said, โ€œIโ€™ll start on Monday.โ€

๐Ÿ”ธOn Monday Iโ€™ll start a new diet.
๐Ÿ”ธOn Monday I will go to the gym.
๐Ÿ”ธOn Monday I will clean up my act.

What is so magical about Monday? Nothing.

Pushing things off until the elusive Monday is like saying, โ€œIโ€™ll get to it eventually.โ€

As soon as you catch yourself even thinking about change, is a huge red flag to get started right away, or at the very least, tomorrow.

So many times clients tell me they carried my card around for months before callingโ€ฆ

Thoughts are fleeting, actions are concrete.

We all have a lifetime of โ€œon Mondayโ€™sโ€, and yet you probably cannot recall a single Monday when you actually followed through. Why?

Change happens when you are ready. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

You will never be more ready than when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and donโ€™t like what you see. Or you find yourself flat on the couch exhausted and unable to make it through the day. Or you just finished off a sleeve of Ritz crackers and you feel out of control inside.

Donโ€™t wait. Do something, anything at that exact moment to signify you are ready to leave old habits behind and start new ones.

โ€œIโ€™ll start on Mondayโ€ is a convenient excuse, and time gives us justification to keep putting off what needs to be done.

Letโ€™s face it, change is hard and uncomfortable.

Commitment takes courage.

But hereโ€™s the rub, the second you decide to find a better way; you will.

Remember, Monday is just the beginning of a new week, but you have the power at any time to decide the beginning of your new life.
