Join our friendly, welcoming women's circle this Sunday.

We will be celebrating Mabon, which lands on Tuesday 22nd September this year. This sacred point in the cycle invites us to pause, reflect, and prepare for the quieter months ahead. Mabon is sometimes called the 'Pagan Thanksgiving,' a time to honour the harvest and express gratitude for the abundance in our lives.

Expect seasonal snacks, a circle of friendly women and a cosy space to relax for a couple of hours. Our women's circle has always been about affordability and inclusion, and is only £15 per person. Newcomers are always welcome, and you can be as quiet or as talkative as you like!

When? Sunday 27th September 4-6pm
Where? The Pod, Burton Latimer

I’ve been wearing a continuous glucose monitor recently, alongside my Oura Ring, and it has been fascinating to see some of the quieter effects of everyday life showing up in the data.

One thing that really caught my attention was eating the same homemade cinnamon roll breakfast on two different mornings. On the morning I practised yoga, my glucose rise was noticeably lower and settled more quickly.

I’ve also noticed some interesting differences between homemade and shop-bought bread, and my Oura Ring often records me in its Restored zone while I’m teaching yoga, particularly during Yin.

None of this is a scientific experiment, and I’m definitely not interested in turning food, movement or yoga into another set of rules.

What I am interested in is self-study.

What happens when we place modern wearable technology alongside something yoga has always asked us to do: notice, listen and become curious about our own bodies?

I’ve written a new blog post about what I’ve been discovering so far:

Autumn is beginning to make itself known in small ways. The mornings are cooler, the light has softened, and the season is quietly shifting around us. Our practice this week will follow that same sense of transition. We’ll begin gently and close to the ground, then gradually rise into a more spacious, energising Hatha practice before settling back into stillness for savasana.

Not everything changes suddenly. Sometimes something new is beginning long before we have words for it.

A practice for meeting what is here today, and allowing whatever is changing to unfold in its own time.

Hi everyone

I’m starting to plan next year’s timetable, retreats and offerings, and I’d love to hear what you’d like to see.

If you’re on my mailing list, you’ll already have an email from me. If you missed it, I’ve shared it on the blog too.

Have a read and tell me what you’d love more of next year, either in the comments or in a message. Your ideas will really help shape what’s to come.

Read the blog post below:

As I start planning for next year, I’d love to hear what you’d like to see from me. Your thoughts will help shape the timetable, retreats and other offerings. Whether you have a specific idea or a small suggestion, I’d love to know.

This is a vulnerable share but I am doing this to build awareness of AuDHD, particularly the experiences of women diagnosed later in life.

A few days ago, I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD. It feels validating, but it has also brought so much grief for all the versions of me who felt like she was drowning, failing, or somehow getting life wrong.

When people ask, “Why do you want to label yourself?” my answer is that AuDHD is a much kinder label than many of the ones I have given myself over the years.

I’ve written about what this diagnosis means to me, how it helps explain struggles with friendships, social dynamics and rejection, and how yoga and teaching have become anchors in my life.

I’m sharing to help others feel less alone and to bring understanding to experiences that often go unseen.

I also share a little about yoga offerings I’m planning for women like me, whether formally diagnosed or self-diagnosed.

Content warning: The blog briefly mentions aspects of my experience as a late-diagnosed woman; bullying, sexual harassment and abuse, but absolutely no details are given.

Diagnosed with AuDHD just days ago, I am feeling both validation and grief for the versions of me who struggled without understanding why. My diagnosis is helping me make sense of friendships, overwhelm and the harsh labels I gave myself. Here, I share how yoga grounds me, how teaching anchors me in...

Good morning! Here are all the places you can practice with me this coming week :)

We are exploring the Gunas this week, one of my favourite themes. No Monday class at Isham, as the village hall is in use by the Parish Council.
