BABY LOSS AWARENESS WEEK ā¤ļøšā¤ļø
Today is mental health awareness day, for a good decade this has been on the forefront of everyoneās mind and rightly so⦠itās a horrible disease and has destroyed many souls, a huge effort was made especially for males between 18-40 as many wouldnāt speak out, but how many of us knew it was also baby loss awareness week?? I bet not half as many, for me this is the female version of not speaking outā¦. How can something with such a unique pain/ trauma and which affects 1 in 4 pregnancies not be more spoken aboutā¦
So I believe a lot of energy needs to be redirected into helping this heartbreaking issue⦠so many suffer yet little is done⦠Mental health (especially for males) has had an incredible amount of help/ attention and now the same needs to happen for women and baby lossā¦
Please spread this message and make others awareā¦
Amazing charities like & are doing incredible work but they need helpā¦
Time for others to step upā¦

Hope youāll had an amazing Christmas and spent time with people than mean the most to you,
past year been quiet on work account as struggle to put across my style/ beliefs on social media & didnāt wanna fall into the trap of putting out the generic fitness industry posts as itās just not me.
so going forward will use this account for a point of contact, meaningful health advice (no fads) and an information on my schedule etc
in the meantime concentrate on getting balance in your life & being healthy enough to make it happen!
So my tips for 2023
⢠invest time in yourself because youāre not able to do anything productive if youāre not healthy, learn to take breaks when working hard as burn out is a disaster on your body & mind
⢠embrace what you do have, make time for family & friends, less time on phones etc
⢠donāt rush, learn balance give yourself the best chance to achieve your goals, enjoy the whole journey not just the end
⢠learn to enjoy your own space, if you donāt learn to love yourself you will struggle mentally,
⢠do something youāve always wanted to do
⢠balance that word again, itās something Iāve always found hard, although you want achieve all of the above donāt over stretch yourself because if you try & please everyone you end up pleasing no one including yourself,
⢠& finally to make all this happen you need to eat well, be hydrated, train correctly & recover/ repair and if you need that help Iām here for you
Donāt be in the same position next year, make it happen & have no regrets

Chicken Bone Broth aka Penicillin Soup š²
-Place a whole chicken in a pot covered to the top with 2 litres of vegetable stock (I use bouillon powder)
-Add 5 carrots, 1 chopped large onion.
- Bring to the boil and then simmer 2-3 hours.
- Remove whole chicken and bones and cool- then shred the chicken and return to the pot.
- I like to add either a handful of rice, pearl barley or vermicelli noodles.
Add chopped parsley and serve.
This is full full of good vitamins and minerals.

the last 2 years have been extremely difficult for many reasons & thatās without this nonsense of a pandemic/ lockdowns but one thing it has proven that time is precious⦠every moment counts, Iām no expert on life or anything for that matter as Iām always learning but this madness has taught me that every moment counts,
My recommendation to you is to aim to have balance in life & being healthy enough to make it happen!
So my tips for 2022

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & Happy Healthy New Year!
This post isnāt to tell you how to calorie count etc during the festive season, 1 Iād be a bloody hypocrite & 2 just donāt⦠STOP IT just use this time to let off some steam, if that means eating 30 roast potatoes with your turkey do it, if it means downing wine straight out the bottle do it (can reverse all this in 2 weeks in January anyway) just let it out you deserve it, you survived another year of this madness⦠let it all out for these few days but most of all embrace what you do have.. embrace & enjoy your family & friends ā¤ļø thatās what i will be doing xx
