These 3 pictures on my wall are a representation of what motivates me. The top image is at the Parkinson's UK walk for Parkinson's event where I did the warm up. I love supporting this community and have gained so many friends along the way.
The middle is the The Federation of Holistic Therapists. I am a proud fellow member and they have helped and pushed me to be the best version of my sports therapist self. The bottom image is me lifting 240 kg at my first strongman competition. I have a congenital back issue that used to hurt on a daily basis. This was until I started training at Maverick Gym with . This image proves you are more capable than you think and all you need to do is try!

How to calm the body after a heatwave 29/05/2026

Heatwave & your nervous system🔥
We had a more gentle approach to the May Carers in Hertfordshire online session tonight. After a week long heatwave, we looked at calming the body and reducing stress on the central nervous system caused by hot weather.

You can read what we got up to below ⬇️⬇️

How to calm the body after a heatwave Carers in Hertfordshire May online session As we have had such a hot week, I wanted to make the May online session a little more relaxed. During a

Today was the first of my weekly Movement is Medicine for Parkinson’s class in Luton. A massive shout out to Julie Wilson from for setting this up and Bushmead Community Hub for being fantastic hosts. Sadly though, it showed me how much more there needs to be done to get the message across about the benefits of exercise for managing the symptoms of . I asked the participants to write down their main symptom. Out of 11 participants, 8 had different symptoms, 3 wrote down freezing. No one attending had heard of cueing and only 1 was involved in Parkinson’s specific exercise. The next few weeks we will be working on improving their individual symptoms and revisit the cards in a month to see the change.
More needs to be done people. Let’s get the message out there!

I received this fantastic message from an online client of mine today. He is in his 70's and was diagnosed with Parkinson's 6 years ago. We have been working together for around 5 years. He has opted not to take dopamine replacement medication for as long as he can, preferring exercise to manage his symptoms. We work on targeted exercises, making sure he achieves 300 minutes a week. Every person with Parkinson's will have their own unique set of symptoms and condition progression. I'm not saying this is for everyone, just how impactful exercise can be for Parkinson's.

My new class in Luton with Parkinson's UK starts on Wednesday 27th May at the Bushmead Centre, LU2 7SF

The picture you are looking at is a person with Parkinson's I train online, standing with a bent knee posture. After a few minutes of targeted exercises, you can see the difference.

In this new class, we will be working on exercises that will improve your symptoms. I want it to be effective, individual, fun but also a place where you feel safe to be yourself. Looking forward to seeing you Wednesday at 1:30 pm.

Exercises for a Deaf person who has Parkinson’s 07/05/2026

Had a great session today in Cambridge with Deaf people who have Parkinson's. We worked on multi-sensory balance, especially training the visual system, then moved on to using visual cues. The content of the session can be found here: https://www.molyfit.co.uk/deaf-with-parkinsons/

Thank you to Julie Wilson, Area Development Manager at Parkinson's UK East for setting this up and Parkinson's UK for having the foresight to be inclusive for this fantastic community.
