Oooo how did it get to just 12 days before RHS Hyde Hall event!

I have pieces on my bench that need finishing off ready for this event, it's been so hot in the studio that it's been impossible to get work completed. This time I have melted before the silver this summer!

You can find me on Stand B53, RHS Hyde Hall Gardens, with Crafty In Focus from 28th - 31st August 10am-5pm each day!

Working on some new Mitsuro Hikime jewellery pieces including this beautiful leaf pin. Everything is being made from scratch and requires that extra bit of engineering to make it work.

This is what handmade jewellery is, time, love and commitment to problem solving to create a beautiful piece.

Yes there is a lot of work in progress here, but this brooch and some other new jewellery pieces will be at the next event at RHS Hyde Hall, 28th - 31st August, don’t forget if you’re an RHS member you get free entry and discounted tickets are available via the Craft in Focus website until 14th Aug!

Follow or unfollow me seems like a dare! But when I started to write these I didn’t know what my list was going to be. It reminded me of a session with The Design Trust / Patricia van den Akker when Patricia asks a question, you write down the answer and then she says go deeper, why?

I’m hoping that some of these connect with you and I already know the dark chocolate and the cat vs dog will definitely make some of you go no way!
