FIXTURES FOR 2026/27 There are a host of exciting matches to look forward to when we recommence the League season in September. Those with a keen eye will notice a couple of Friday evening away fixtures, not forgetting our 100th Anniversary Cornish Tour.

The boys are already back at the coalface, with preseason underway and into a 3rd week. If you haven’t dusted off the boots yet, then there is still time to join in, this Saturday and start your OD journey back to fitness.

RUGBY IS BACK at ODs from this Saturday. Preseason kicks off and we can’t wait to welcome you all back to SDL. and .a.s have been working hard on the recruitment front to add to the squad and are looking forward to an action packed schedule once the fixture list is released.

BRAND NEW TEAM STRIP INCOMING Our new team shirts have been signed off for this season and we’re just finalising sponsorship for the upcoming season before we release the finished article.

It’s all part of the new enhanced stash package for the playing squad. Team polos, warm-up tees, splash tops, track pants and much more for the team as we upgrade to new kit.

90th TOUR - We’re finally getting around to sorting through the huge number of photos from tour and will be publishing the extracts from this historic occasion during the coming weeks. There are action shots from the 3 matches along with pictures of Easter Sunday’s well attended lunch still to come. Here are the first 10 to get us started……

A huge thank you to everyone that attended and made it such a memorable Easter weekend. Next year is the 100th anniversary of the first Cornish tour and we are looking forward to a similarly epic occasion.

LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCED Congratulations to Yemi Shonubi on his reappointment as Captain for the coming season, whilst Shay Wellman was named as Vice Captain. Both appointments were rubber stamped at Friday’s AGM and we can now start planning for the 2026/27 season. Best of luck to both of them for the upcoming league campaign.

AGM to take place on Friday 5th June. The evening kicks off at 7pm with the usual reports, information and seasons feedback. It’s also an opportunity to ask questions, check-in and find out about our plans for 2026/27.

TOUR MATCHDAY 2 - After yesterdays blockbuster the lads have to back up against our old friends All is set fair for an intriguing match as part of the historic 90th tour. are taking part in the curtain raiser as part of an epic day.

MATCHDAY 1 and we can’t wait to get started. It’s a huge honour and privilege to be part of this historic 90th tour and we’re grateful for the support from so many in the ODs community. Watch this space for more updates.

THE PRESIDENT is always on the go! This time Russ was helping to transport the tour related stash down to The Duchy. Ably assisted by his daughter he loaded huge boxes of kit into his boot which will be distributed this Friday ahead of our matches.

We’re expecting over 300 attendees this weekend, with so many different sections of the ODs community joining us. The 90th tour is in touching distance and we can’t wait for it all to begin! Safe journeys to all…
