If you have missed the sign up window, there is still a chance to enter our upcoming race on Sunday morning. Please arrive in plenty of time to register before the race starts. Bring friends and family. Homemade cakes and refreshments after as normal.

Our next 5 Mile Open Cross Country Race is taking place on Sunday 22nd March 2026, at Spring Park, West Wickham.

The BVAC Open Race is an exciting and challenging 5 mile race around Spring Park Woods and Sparrows Den, West Wickham.

Start Time: 10:30 am.
Start (and finish) at Spring Park / Sparrows Den, between Addington Road and Woodland Way, West Wickham, BR4 9BF.
Two-lap undulating route over fields and through woodland.
Race is supported by marshals throughout.
Water station at half-way point.
All profits go to our club charity.
Medals for all finishers.
Prizes for top 3 finishers.
Toilets on-site but no changing facilities/showers.
Supervised baggage drop.
Refreshment tent for hot drinks and cake! (Donations welcome)
Street parking is possible in the area around Woodland Way, but we strongly encourage car sharing.
Please note that the carpark at Sparrows Den will be closed, and streets in this area will be patrolled.
Alternatively, the nearest train stations, Hayes (Kent) or West Wickham, are both about a 30 minute walk.
Bus routes 353, 314 and 119 stop close to Sparrows Den, and there is also a tram stop
(No.64 Addington Village Interchange from West Croydon) about 15 minutes away.
