The U13s welcomed Normanby to Broomfield Park this morning. I don’t think the final score line accurately reflected the balance of the game. They definitely edged it, but the final score was a 5-1 defeat which definitely flattered them a touch. We were competitive and probably even the better team for the first 10 minutes.
The game was killed off by an early second half penalty. Once they were 2-0 up, the more we pushed, the more open we left ourselves on the counter. We struggled to get back into it from then.
George scored a great goal after some good build-up play and we had chances to score more. We just never really got a proper foothold in the game and didn’t manage to get the ball under control for long periods. But proud that everyone worked hard until the end.
We’ll work hard in training tomorrow night and will try and get back to winning ways next weekend. UTP. 💚💚💚

U12s travelled to Outwood academy to play Kader this morning
With only 2 subs we needed everyone to give 100% and they did.
After a bright start park switched off at the back and conceded the 1st goal. Park re grouped and were soon level with a poachers finish from Theo after an Oz corner
Park were comfortable but a mad 2 minutes right before half time saw us concede 2 more sloppy goals and go in at HT 3-1 behind

The 2nd half was end to end with Carter and Ezra outstanding at the back for Park
We had chances to get back into the game but kader held firm, Kader added a fourth late on as we chased the game

Full time 4-1
Score line doesn’t reflect the performance and plenty of positives again

U7's Greens travelled to Darlington RA. Both teams were very evenly matched and each and every game was very competitive. Every player managed to score at least one goal with a fair few goal line clearances aswell! Well done to every player involved! UTP!

U7's - Whites

We welcomed Guisborough Town to Broomfield Park for our first home game of the season.

They provided a really tough challenge but our youngsters gave a really good account of themselves. They had to dig deep, defend their goal well and made some great tackles to deny the opposition before breaking well and scoring some very nice goals.

Our score line has to say 0-0 for the league but our boys came out in top in the majority of their games.

Great turn out by both sets of parents and guardians who all remained respectful throughout. A very good morning of football all round.
