Introducing the Thursday Night Challenge Series 🎯

16 Events over 8 weeks all taking place at Whitehaven Rugby Union Club.

2 events per week, £6 covers entry into both events every week.

Events will be straight knockout BO5 legs throughout.

Points earned from the events will all feed into the order of merit and finals night qualification will be based on this.

🏆 The Top 16 will compete in the championship playoffs for a slice of the prize pot

🍽️ The next 32 players will be invited to play in a money added plate finals

⬇️ 5️⃣0️⃣ Any player with 8 or more points and a series average below 50 will be invited to the under 50 average finals.

The series will get underway on the 17th of September and will take place every Thursday thereafter.

All finals will take place on Thursday the 5th of November.

Events will open for registration 8 days in advance, event 1 is £6 entry paid online, event 2 is free for anyone who has paid for event 1. If you only wish to play event 2 you must pay the £6 registration fee by BACS within 24 hours of registration.

Every event is capped at 32 entries and will be played on 5 boards.

A few months ago we quietly launched our recycle initiative, working behind the scenes to kit out pubs, venues, schools, and community spaces with both new and used dart gear. We kept it low‑key at first, learning from other organisations, refining the process, and making sure everything was done properly.

Thanks to the amazing darting community in Barrow and Whitehaven, we now have a small selection of donated dartboards ready to be passed on to young players who need them.

If you know of any kids in these areas who are keen to play more darts at home but aren’t in a position to buy a brand‑new setup, please reach out to us privately. We’ll help wherever we can.

We do ask for understanding, we receive a lot of messages across our pages about sponsorships, donations, and support. We can’t get to everyone right now, and our resources are limited, but we’ll always try our best.

This is also a great opportunity for anyone who has recently upgraded (or plans to upgrade) their setup. If your board, surround, or lighting still has some life left in it, don’t throw it away. Get in touch with us and we’ll make sure it goes to a young player who will genuinely benefit from it.

And if there are any volunteers in these areas who’d be willing to help install dartboards in homes for families who might not have the means - that would be an absolutely huge help.
A small bit of your time could make a massive difference for a young player getting their first proper setup.
