Angels Dance School

I have no idea how to put this into words but I'm gonna try.

Tonight was unbelievable! My heart is bursting with love and pride. I can't stop crying! 😭😭😭😭😭

This is the end of a huge era. 22 years of being a dance teacher and 18 years of Angels Dance School. I have put my heart and soul into this job and I have loved every wonderful moment.

I tried to create a friendly and safe place for my students to dance, express themselves, have fun and be themselves. To hear and read all of your beautiful messages and see you all tonight was such an overwhelming shock. I literally felt so emotional. We have made THE MOST wonderful memories over the years which make me so proud. Proud that many of my pupils are still best friends after more than 10 years of dancing together. Proud that I have helped some of my pupils overcome hardships, anxiety, lack of confidence, stage fright. Proud that my pupils have learnt life skills that will stay with them forever. Proud that some of them now have a wonderful career in dance or doing what they are passionate about.

And proud of myself for the very first time in my life for creating something so wonderful. It has been the hardest decision to give this up and it breaks my heart 💔💔

I cannot thank you all enough for turning up tonight, I have no idea how you managed to keep it from me. I truly am so grateful that you took the time to come along, it meant so much to me. There were quite a few faces missing and I know if you could have made it you defo would have.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you all! For your lovely presents, cards and the beautiful messages which I will treasure forever. Thank you for all the support the dance mums, dad's, nans have given me over the years. And a big thank you to all my beautiful students, past and present who made it all worthwhile. All the laughter, fun, tears, arguments, shows, competitions have just made my life what it is today. I have spent half of my life with you guys and have the most beautiful friendships for life out of it.

I feel like I have so many more people to thank too but mostly thank you to my beautiful sister Jackie for organising tonight, with a bit of help from the dance mums. You, George and Mum were by my side from day 1 and have been a huge part of my dance school and the reason it was so successful. Without your help Angels would not have been so amazing and brought us all the amazing, wonderful, treasured memories. I cant imagine it was easy organising all those parents, kids, photos, messages, you did a fabulous job and I was so shocked. Well done! I love you x

On to a new chapter for me, whatever it may be, and more precious time to spend with my babies.

I absolutely adore each and every one of you and will miss you all deeply. This is not goodbye. Just a merry Christmas. Make it a good one and I'll see you all in 2024.

We primarily teach Disco Freestyle but also train in the following styles:

We compete at regional and friendly competitions

We take yearly exams with ISTD one of the world's top dance governing bodies
