Wigan St Jude's golds 8️⃣ - 2️⃣0️⃣ Widnes Moorfield Tigers

Our cup journey comes to an end after a tough afternoon in the semi-final.

Today just wasn't our day. Credit to Widnes Moorfield Tigers, who played well and took their chances, but we know we made things harder for ourselves than we should have. Sometimes rugby gives you days like this, and all we can do is learn from it.

Now it's time to put our full focus on the league campaign. We need to regroup, refocus and, most importantly, believe in ourselves. This is a great group of lads with plenty of quality, and if we work hard together, there's still plenty to play for this season.

A special mention goes to Reece, who showed incredible toughness by battling through injury. Diving into tackles with one arm and putting his body on the line for his teammates summed up everything you want to see in a Judes shirt.

Chase also deserves praise for stepping up in the middle of the park, taking ownership, calling the plays and giving absolutely everything for the team.

Also Jack, put his body on the line, quite literally, your team mates are behind you lad! Hope the injury isn’t too bad! Get well soon!
