Swati Dance Company

It is always a pleasure to visit the beautiful grounds of Edgehill university and teach the hardworking students in the most positively charged inspiring studio.
On Monday the 9th of March Swati Dance conducted a Bharatanatyam technique class for the students of EdgeHill University. The workshop included adavus, simple narratives and the importance of clarity of line, poise along with appropriate use of eye movement and glances in both aspects of Bharatanatyam.

Members of Swati Youth dance are excited to be selected to be part of U Dance 2026 (NorthWest).
Nineteen young dancers will perform 'Krishna- Shades of Blue on saturday, 14th March at the Lowry, Manchester

Sharing snippets of our production, Symphony of Movement. It was such a wonderful experience working with 10 dancers. Challenging rehearsals as the dancers travelled from across the country and even Ireland. The camaraderie that grew as a result was priceless. Amazing music by Praveen D Rao, stunning costumes Sandhya Raman, Choreography Swati Raut Enjoyed ever bit of the process. The resulting piece was showcased in 4 venues. We thank Arts Council England for their support in creating this work.

Students of Swati Dance recently performed at The Northern Tamil Association Deepavali Kondattam 2025. Nandhana and Saratha won the first prize in the Classical Dance Category.
