Highfield Grange Athletic U4's

Another brilliant session with our Highfield Grange A.F.C U4s yesterday! ⚽️

We kicked things off with a fun game of tag to get everyone warmed up and moving, and the energy from the start was fantastic. From there, we jumped straight into one of their absolute favourites “Hungry Hippos” which had everyone smiling, laughing, and working together.

To finish, the children asked for an extended match, and of course we delivered! We introduced 3v3 rules during the game to help them start understanding spacing, teamwork, and why we train the way we do.

We also extended the session by an extra 15 minutes so the children could bring on their adults to join in a great way to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a real sense of community within the group.

It’s amazing to see this group growing together week by week. The future is bright! 💙⚽️

Another great morning with our Highfield Grange Athletic U4s 💙💛

Out on the grass in that fresh early morning air.
Even though we had a smaller group today, that didn’t stop the fun when everyone got stuck in, worked hard, and played with big smiles all round!

We handed out two special awards today for outstanding effort 👏 One for incredible determination, and another for a fantastic team player who not only scored some great goals but even jumped in to play on both sides during our end of session game to keep things fair true sportsmanship! 💪⚽

So proud of every single player today. Great effort, great attitude, and most importantly… great fun!

Gettingbused to being back out on the grass where we belong, and with the weather finally starting to turn, it made it even more special! ☀️🙌

The session was all about introducing new fun games to get the group engaged and excited ahead of the football and they loved it! Smiles all round from start to finish 😄

We kicked things off with some running races to get everyone warmed up, full of energy and laughter, before starting to build those important early lessons about being a team player and developing that desire to win together 💪⚽

There’s nothing better than seeing them out on the grass, enjoying the fresh air, getting a bit muddy, and learning the basics of team sports in the best way possible ⚽️👏

Another fantastic session for our superb Highfield Grange Athletic U4s today! 💙💛⚽

We had some exciting changes this week as we headed back outside, making the most of a beautiful sunny morning and getting ready for the warmer weather ahead. ☀️

The kids absolutely loved being back on the grass again plenty of space to run, explore, and enjoy themselves in the big open field!

We kicked things off with a huge run across the pitch, each child with a ball at their feet so much energy and enthusiasm from everyone! 💪⚽

Today’s favourite game had to be tag with bibs, which had all the kids laughing and running non-stop. It was brilliant to see how much they enjoyed it outdoors.

And of course, there were plenty of tumbles along the way… but lots of laughs too! Falling over on the grass just seemed to make it even more fun, as you’ll see from the photos 😂

A big well done as well to our four well-deserved trophy winners today fantastic effort from all of you! 🏆👏

Even on Mother’s Day, it was fantastic to see the amazing commitment from all our football mums. Those early Sunday mornings are definitely becoming part of life now and they will be for a long time! 😊

We mixed things up a bit today to keep the sessions fresh, fun, and exciting for the children. It’s great to see them enjoying every minute and wanting to come back each week.

Once again, it was a fantastic session. The support the children are already showing for each other is brilliant to see it’s already shaping up to be a great little team! 👍

And finally, Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums who support their little footballers every week. We appreciate everything you do! 💐⚽️

We had a great time from start to finish today, with plenty of smiles all around! 😄

It’s great to see the confidence growing in the players each week, and the friendships are really starting to shine through too. Watching them support and encourage each other is brilliant. 👏

Even the coach had a special helper today! Myles who sometimes struggles to get involved in the games certainly found his voice when helping tell the others what to do he loved it! 😂

We also had trophies all round today, with all four being won by players who showed great effort and enthusiasm throughout the session. 🏆

A special mention to Harry as well, who scored three goals in our end-of-match game. We even finished a little early so the players could take penalties against one of our goalkeepers, Dougie which they absolutely loved! ⚽🥅

After having a week off, the excitement was clear to see the kids couldn’t wait to get back out there and get started!

We kicked things off with some of their favourite games, full of energy, smiles and plenty of goals, before finishing the session with a brilliant match to top it all off.

It was especially great to see so many children helping and encouraging each other today, supporting teammates to overcome any little nerves. The confidence growing within the group each week is amazing.

The friendships forming within this team are so special to watch, and every single child is making fantastic progress. We’re so proud of them all! 💙💛⚽️

It was amazing to see the players helping each other out that’s what it’s all about. We don’t just play football here; we build lifelong friendships, confidence, and a safe space where everyone can learn and grow with the support of our coaches.
Every player showed trust, enthusiasm, and a real willingness to learn. With that trust, we’re able to teach them great things all while having loads of fun, laughter, and smiles along the way 😄⚽️
One really special moment today was seeing a player who is usually very shy step up, help the coach, and confidently tell the others where to run next during our Corners game. That’s a huge achievement and something to be incredibly proud of 👏💙💛

We had four trophy winners today, but honestly, every single player was brilliant. We’re not just building better footballers we’re building great little people, and today showed exactly why we love what we do.
