CherryBrook Miami v Bolton Lads and Girls

We started this game 6v6 as they had a few players running late.

We started off strong with some great passes through from midfield from Rex and Nathan timing them well.

Norris was solid at the back on his own judging his tackles well even when he was 3 on 1 holding them up till he got support.

After a break from David he found himself 1 on 1 and he calmly slid it past the keeper nicely taken goal.

We was unfortunate to conceed after a cross from the right hit Norris and unfortunately went past William who had earlier made a crucial save.

Just before half time we went back to 7v7 with Jayden on his debut making some great 1 2s with Harry before having a shot and making the keeper make a good save.

After half time the lads looked a completely different team winning every ball and dominating in the middle of the park with Joe and Reece solid at the back as always.

Nathan managed to latch on to a mistake in midfield and run through before putting the ball top bin.

We then got a kick in which Nathan took quickly floating the ball from his own half over the whole team where Norris met it in the volley and it flew in the top corner no keeper was saving that.

George made some great runs where he was found from sone great balls from Jayden playing it into the space.

We then got the ball out wide where Nathan drove past 2 players before playing the ball inside to Reece who played it one more to Harry wide open who put the ball in the net well deserved goal.

We was unfortunate not to have another after Rex took it on a run past 2 players before just putting it wide very unlucky.

Our lads played absolutely amazing and Norris with a contender for goal of the season.

CherryBrook Miami v Tika Taka Ajax

After a controversial game last week the boys where back on there travels.

We started off a bit slow today with the opponents getting 4 corners in the first 5 minutes luckily we cleared our lines well.

Reece and Harry started well at the back together making some great interceptions and tackles.

We then had a great spell and after some great link up between David and Nathan we tested the keeper who made a great save.

After a great ball across the box from David found George who hit it and there defender used his hand and the ref gave a penalty which David stepped up and unfortunately put it wide.

We was unfortunate to find ourselves going in at the break one down which came against the run of play.

The lads went out second half and started amazing with Joe playing in midfield and Nathan on the wing there link up play was amazing quick passes.

After Nathan took the ball past 2 players down the line and passed to David leaving him 1 on 1 and he slid the ball under the keeper.

After a great spell tired legs set in and we got punished twice quite quickly where there quality showed.

We was unfortunate at the end where Tommy made a great run and took a shot unfortunately the ball bobbled as he kicked it any other day the shot would of flown in.

Our lads played absolutely amazing considering we had one sub.

We had a few new lads who came and trained with us tonight all did amazing Jayden was amazing in his fitness drills and controlled the game at the end in the match.

Match Report

CherryBrook Miami v Leigh United

After a few weeks break the lads were back.

We started off strong with some great build up play between David and Norris keeping the ball well and playing some nice passes and creating a few early chances.

Harry was playing amazing down the right making some great runs and getting into space with some superb balls into the box with Tommy coming close a few times.

Tommy then got the ball on the edge of the box and drove the ball in before taking a great shot which the keeper saved but there defender tried to clear it and put it in his own net.

We should have had a penalty soon after that when there CB and GK both pulled Rex to the floor straight from that goalkick they ended up countering scoring an equaliser.

We came in at halftime frustrated after a few decisions didn't go our way but kept our heads.

Second half we started the same controlling the game with some great defending from Reece he was everywhere making blocks and tackles all over the place.

We then had a switch up which saw Joe in the middle doing some great one twos with Rex which almost ended in a goal.

We then should of had a second penalty when Joe was dragged to the floor from a corner which Rex drove in a great low cross which Harry nearly got on the end of.

We then somehow conceded again against the run of play only there second shot of the whole game after Willian had been commanding in the box coming out for everything was very unlucky.

We then came close twice trying to get an equaliser once with Rex hitting the post then Tommy having his shot saved and was very unlucky trying to act quick on the rebound just putting it wide.

We continued with the pressure with Norris coming close from outside the box and Reece having his shot saved from a corner.

We got a corner in the last few minutes where Rex put the ball in the box and there defender hit the ball out with his hand and the ref again didn't give a penalty was an outrageous decision not to give the penalty.

Our lads played absolutely amazing and decisions didn't go our way today we move to next week
