Chloe secured a distinction in her Children and Young People Family Practitioner Level 4 apprenticeship standard. Huge congratulations to her! Here is what she fed back to us:

“Luke (Achieving Excellence tutor) was professional throughout making it easy for me to share my queries or concerns I had throughout my course. This included the times I felt my employer was not offering me allocated course work hours, flexible to the shift work nature, of the role. Luke advocated for me and helped me to communicate my needs effectively.

On my learner journey I faced different challenges, Luke’s response throughout was consistent, offering solutions, finding alternatives and above all being so positive.

One of my challenges at times was responding to Luke’s communications. He remained patient and flexible in his approach, and utilised both email and text to ensure I was reached. This was helpful above and beyond our regular calls, or teaching sessions.

Luke’s professional experience in a residential setting remained highly beneficial throughout my learning. He was able to provide authentic examples of supporting young people which often supported me understanding the questions better but also encouraged professional reflection throughout. Both my employer and I have seen improvements in my practice as a result.

There were many times I believed I wouldn’t finish this course, and whether or not Luke believed it he always told me I would.
So Thank you very much because now I have a grade higher than I imagined I’d get. :)”

This is Alice, she successfully passed her Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship standard. We wanted to offer this wonderful feedback:

“When I started the course a year and 3 months ago, I was not sure what to do mainly after the introduction to the course, as it can be overwhelming, then along the way I have been so blessed I was assigned to Teresa who has been ever ready to help and support me.

With Teresa lessons, they were always engaging and tailored exactly how to help me learn. She was always very patient and yet prompt, whenever I was overwhelmed or stuck, she was aware. She would regularly send me messages to see if I was doing alright with the course work.

You know sometimes life gets in the way, being a full-time working mother with studies has not been easy but whenever I explain myself to Teresa, she always makes me feel encouraged and helps me get back on track.

I genuinely enjoyed the subject and even at my work place they have noticed a big difference in how I serve and support my clients!

Teresa is an exceptional tutor who genuinely cares about student success. She is highly skilled at identifying and fixing learning gaps and she never made me feel bad for asking questions.

Thank you”

If we could clone our tutors, we would! However, we are looking for more tutors in adult care. If you or anyone you know is intereted please contact us!

A message from Nishant who passed his Lead Adult Care Worker level 3apprenticeship standard:

“Achieving Excellence UK Ltd is one of best supportive education providers, from the Directors to the Tutors. All are very kind and helpful! A huge thank you to my tutor Georgiana Cus-Miroiu and Julie Degg for their exceptional guidance. Quick response of any questions throughout my study. They created a positive and stimulating learning environment through teaching and assessment. Their expertise and thoughtful questioning pushed me to reflect deeply on my own practice. I've not only passed my qualification but also grown significantly as a professional."

This is Alisha, she got a distinction in her Level 4 Children and Young People Family Practitioner apprenticeship standard. Here is her feedback!!

“I wanted to share some feedback since my time working with Achieving Excellence and working with my tutor Melanie Poxon.

I firstly want to say a BIG thank you to Achieving Excellence for providing me with such an outstanding tutor. Melanie is an absolute credit to your company, and the level of support, professionalism and commitment she gives to her learners is exceptional.

Secondly, I cannot thank my tutor Melanie enough for everything she has done during my time completing the Level 4 Children and young people residential care. Melanie has been so so supportive and consistent with myself she has done an amazing job. Mel kept me focused, Mel supported me with extra time and regular meetings to get me through this. Mel spoke to me through every bit of the course, always taking time to guide me, encourage me and help me believe in myself. There were times when I felt overwhelmed or doubted myself but Mel never stopping believing in me and this has definitely made such a huge difference, the positive impact on both my learning and my journey as well as my confidence!

With Mel’s support I will able to achieve the best outcome. Mel is not only my tutor she is a caring and supportive person. Mel’s passion for helping learners succeed really shines through in everything Mel does, and I feel so lucky I had Mel supporting me during this qualification.

I believe Mel definitely deserves a reward for all her hard work and commitment she put in to this and myself! I appreciate Mel so much. I wish Mel all the best and receive continuous blessings!

Kind regards

Alisha”

Stress Awareness Month has been held every April since 1992 to raise awareness of the causes and cures for our modern-day stress epidemic. It is the time when we have an opportunity for an open conversation on the impact of stress and dedicated time to removing the guilt, shame, and stigma around mental health. This is also a great opportunity to talk about stress and its effects and to open up about our mental and emotional state with friends, families, colleagues, and professionals.

The theme for 2026 is which focuses on what we can each do to reduce stress, build resilience and inspire others to do the same.

What could you do for stress awareness month?

• Talk about stress and its effects – let’s work together to reduce the stigma that is associated with stress by talking about the topic openly and freely with friends, family and colleagues.

• Share your coping mechanisms – if something has worked for you why not share it. It might benefit someone you care about and in the meantime, it might help you take your focus off your own challenges.

• Be nice to those who are stressed and anxious – we are all undoubtedly going to experience stress and anxiety in our lifetime so treat others going through it with compassion and empathy.

• Look after yourself – we all need to think more about self–care. Take time out of your day to relax or do something that you enjoy. Don’t forget to exercise and eat well, even when you feel too stressed.

The most important thing you can do when you are stressed or anxious is to make sure you are continuing to look after yourself.

Make time to relax when you need to and learn to say no to requests that are too much for you.

My name is Simone, and I have been a learner with Charlotte for two years. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for all the support Charlotte has given me throughout my qualification.

Charlotte has been my tower of strength, especially during the times when I felt like giving up. Her dedication, encouragement, and unwavering belief in me kept me going when I felt completely deflated. The motivation and time she invested in me have been truly invaluable.

I am delighted to share that I have now completed my Level 5 in Children, Young People, and Families Management. I know that without Charlotte’s commitment, patience, and continual support, I would not have reached this point. I am deeply grateful to her for helping me achieve this milestone and significantly strengthening my knowledge and skills.

My thanks also extend to the entire team at Achieving Excellence for their support throughout this journey, I feel so more competent and confident.
