Restorative Yoga
Seeing more of you embrace rest in my public offerings these past few months has been so special.
It takes courage to show up to these classes and embrace stillness.
And trust to feel held and safe enough to let go.
I’m deeply moved each time we come together.
Each time someone tries this practice for the first time.
And each time you come back.
It’s meant so much sharing this practice with the community over the past six weeks.
If you’re interested in exploring rest with me more, this is not the end!
I’m back guiding a Slow Sunday on December 3rd .
And you can find me every Thursday at 17:30 for Restorative Yoga.

I love working with my one-on-one clients in and am thrilled to now be teaching a regular group class.
I'm grateful for this yoga haven and the community Kirsty and Mike have nurtured.
The teachers are excellent, including who I'm humbled to passed the Intro to Yoga class by (big boots to fill, and don't get me started about her pre-class comedy).
We have got a six-week course, incorporating yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama, and some of the other aspects of yoga you don't always find in class.
You're welcome any week on Mondays at 19:15.

Thrilled to see more people valuing rest recently.
I'm grateful for the twelve people who showed up on Sunday for Radical Rest exploring practices to calm their nervous systems.
Some came without knowing what to expect showing great courage and trust, for which I am really touched.
Big thanks to for putting more restorative practices out there through their Slow Sunday Club.
I recommend checking them out to end your weekend with a moment of calm.

∙ Slowly does it
I’m slowly stirring back into a gentle rhythm after the business that was Christmas and New Year's for me.
Whilst I am an extrovert and appreciate organised fun as much as my relatives, this year I really felt the impact of falling out of routine.
It’s not that I have a strict regimen of what each day looks like or a set morning routine, in fact, I’ve never been this way, but I’ve felt knocked out of kilter after weeks out of my usual space and activities.

What’s radical about rest?

How we move and our presence in movement matters. Not just when we are on a yoga mat or in a class. We can take our movement practice into our life. It needn’t be separate. After all what are we practicing for? When you’re reaching up for your morning cup, leaning down to load the dishwasher or dare I say it pick something else up 😉, our whole life is an opportunity to be present in and intentional with our movement. Whatever you’re up to today, this is your invitation to .

A yoga posture can be simply
a mechanical action, an exercise.
That’s fine if that is what you want.
Is that what you want?
If you desire more, then begin
Not by diligently forcing yourself into the forms,
But let the forms emerge from you.
Wisdom by the incredible
