*Membership is a cheap-as-chips £70 per annum!
*As well as our floodlit 650m winter training track, we enjoy sessions at a variety of locations in the Wilmslow and Alderley Edge areas. This keeps things interesting!
*We supplement our regular Tuesday night sessions with “Track Nights” at a local running track.
*We organise a competitive intra-club race series every year.
*We enter enthusiastic teams in the super-cheap MACCL (Cross Country) competition every winter.
*Match entry fees for both the National and Cheshire Cross Country Championships are paid for by the club.
*There’s a lively WRC social scene: An annual Awards Night, Christmas Party, running Away Days, and regular après-race pub trips. We also host regular ‘food after training nights’ at our Club base - these are great for getting to know other members.
*We enjoy great club links to both Run North West and Running Bear. Discounts for members are available with both companies.
*We have hot showers and changing rooms!

Look out for the WRC members on pacing duties at the event. They'll have massive flags 😄 A whole spread of target times will be available.

Club mates were out and about all over the the place today. Mellor 10, Wigan, the Secret 20 and the Cheshire Spring Half - not to mention the ubiquitous 'Sunday Long Runs' and the marathon mileage. Go WRC!

Also from our Annual Awards Night, here are the winners/recipients of other awards this year. There were some Outstanding Achievement Awards given out and also some important celebrations of the many 'unsung heroes' who quietly get things done in the background to keep our club running so efficiently. We are impressed by, and grateful to, all of you! Here's to another great year of success at WRC 🥂

We held our Annual Awards Night on Friday. Here are the winners of the series overall and the various leagues within. Well done, all of you! Here's to another fantastic Club Series in 2026, which is already well underway.

A great Sunday morning for WRC at Poynton Village 10k. A nice sprinkling of age group category wins and other high placings, and two of the team home within the top 20. The WRC women also claimed the women's team prize!
