Tonight was the hardest and most heartbreaking decision I have ever made. One that I thought I would not make so soon. Due to an issue beyond my control (personal), I have no choice.

Tonight in a personal letter to all my students, along with a very nice welcoming letter from Wimbledon Kyokushin Karate club. I have announced my retirement with tears and sadness. This was not an easy decision to make. I have many years of memories that I will never forget. I would like to thank all the students and parents over the years for your dedication and support.

My last teaching session and running of Independent Tsuyoi-Ryu Karate McHale Dojo will be on Friday, 30th June.

I would like to thank Wimbledon Kyokushin Karte Club for your support. I reached out to you a few weeks ago. I would like to welcome my students to your club and organisation along with your instructors. I know that you teach a high standard of karate, I would like to thank you for giving my students the best possible opportunities so they can further their karate knowledge and skills. Osu.

To my students past and present. Thank you for the years of great memories. You will still see me as Leland will continue his training with you at your new Dojo. Maybe one day pending my issue, I will be able to train with you. Thank you for your support & dedication. Osu

I have been doing karate for over 20 years. I have fought in many tournaments, fighting and meeting the most wonderful karateka and karate organisations . I have been part of so many events, too many to mention. The memories I have made are for life... osu
