A Day in the Ruins – Trippin' with Kids

Look what showed up in the mail yesterday...and right after I tracked the shipment and saw no updates from when the box reached Milan over two weeks ago! It's a bit banged up, but intact!

We're back in Cali, but we've still got a backlog of posts and pics to share...including this post by Potter that goes all the way back to mid-July, and our exciting stay at Castello di Montalto (click through for the video tour).

A Tour of the Castle – Trippin' with Kids I realize how late this blog post is, considering we stayed in Montalto Castle more than three weeks ago. However, our experience at the castle needs to be shared, as it was certainly an interesting part of our journey.

We are unpacking today and I couldn't resist snapping this photo of the 17 Yahtzee game score cards we played on the trip. One of the goals of the trip was to just spend time together and this was one of the regular staples of family time.

Everyone's excited to be coming home!

Our very last day of our epic adventure ends where it all began - in Great Britain. We flew from Rome to Heathrow this morning and are visiting Windsor today. Potter and Poobah went to see Windsor Castle. The youngest 2 are tour/castle/vacation fatigued so Sherpa Mamma did the only logical thing. Took them to see "Aliens Love Underpants".
