Welcome to my page. I am a personal trainer with a passion for health, wellbeing and fitness, based in Windsor.

For me, being healthy starts by making positive lifestyle choices - incorporating them into your routine and sticking with them. We all have different levels of ability, depending on many factors and for sure, we are all time poor. However, regular exercise, stretching properly, eating well, taking time out to relax and staying hydrated can combine to produce those positive endorphins that make us


My first attempt at oat cookies (my presentation needs a lot of work) The recipe for these cookies came from & they are lovely. Just the thing when you feel rubbish due to a bad cold & want a healthy snack.


Oh dear.... January has started well. I love Ferrero Rocher & these were given to me at lunchtime... oh dear (again). I have not touched one all Christmas until today. Admittedly the kids had some but there it is to see, I can’t stop at one..... they were delicious and so tomorrow is another day.


One of the kids joined me on their bike for my last run of the year this morning.



Today was the last walking & workout class of the year. Thank you ladies...


Saturday morning 10k. This morning was grey, windy & wet so some serious motivation was needed to leave the house.



I had company this morning which is always nice. Hubby decided to join me for what started out as a 5k run but then became an impromptu 10k run. It certainly cleared the cobwebs this morning. Happy days...

Time for Pilates


Every Monday morning I run an outdoor class along the river which includes body weight & resistance band exercises along with some fast paced walking. Come & join us next Monday 5th November if you fancy some fresh air along with some exercise.

Morning! It is half term which means squeezing in my workouts where I can. It can be a real juggling act with everything else that is going on. It can sometimes mean setting the alarm a little earlier to get it in before the day begins or training a little later at night, which for me is really hard as I like to exercise first thing. If some days my trainers only go on for a 20 minute quick work out where I can fit it in then I will be more than happy with that. That’s all that is needed this week. This week is about keeping the kids happy & of course active... Happy half term!


Today was supposed to be my run day. However I have been suffering from a trapped nerve in my left foot which is really not happy when I run. Today I had to finally relent. So this morning it was all about the bike.... a very dusty bike.

No gym required for a full body kettlebell HIIT workout at home this morning. Just my mat & kettlebells needed.


Thursday morning 10k run. Such a beautiful morning to run on the long walk.


I have a huge passion for health, wellbeing & fitness & I have been a Personal Trainer within the fitness industry for 9 years now, having re-trained after working in the corporate world for so many years.
As a trainer I offer personal one to one training & also group training which can take place outdoors, in the the gym or in your own home. All gym based training is within The Wren’s Club in Windsor.

When I go for a run my old... but loved iPod classic & Garmin always come with me. I love music!! (Soprano & his album L’Everest has got me around a few 10k runs) also being a little heart rate obsessed....I’m working on that one! my Garmin is a must. Both were not there at the beginning of this week. Argh.. I always feel I need them. iPod not charged & Garmin only had enough juice for 3k, however I ran. So for a 2nd time this week I decided to run with no music & I enjoyed it. I actually preferred it.


My mind kept telling me to take a quicker route this morning & my legs felt heavy from the gym yesterday but after the first 10 mins I found my rhythm & kept going.

We all lead busy lives & trying to fit exercise in can be challenging. I only had a spare half an hour this morning so a quick muddy run it was.

Morning! My favourite breakfast this morning.



After spending a couple of days in the gym with weights today was my first outdoor run after a week on the slopes. Motivation was really needed today but a comfortable 8k done.
