Massive respect to Para Marathon wheeler Mad Man Peter Smorthit, racked a couple of 10km wheels this morning, the first was his warm up and the second was the timed event in London, and then appeared at training, from London on the train. Pete is so dedicated to his marathons, competing in the. Marrakech last week, Lanzarote the month before and Greece. A few weeks before that. Along with the ones he does in the uk. Slight change to plans. Roko the service dog has come to see our Bella and what a time he has had. Non stop up and down whilst Bella pushes up and down which helps her with her fitness and chair skills. Oh yes ghe best of friends too
This week has been a great time with the club purchasing this new net scoring frame. We have purchased to help people like our little Bella who is seven years old joined us being able to use a chair but each week her chair use is getting better and better. Now we have this frame Bella is actually able to shoot into the four baskets at different heights which helps her shoot better but get her shooting action correct.check some pics of our Bella and the new bit of shooting kit. Check her beautiful smile and how happy she was to shoot and get baskets. It was amazing to see.well done Bella keep up the hard work.

Good morning everyone, Windsor Monarchs wheelchair basketball team are in desperate need of low point player or 2.
The season starts soon and our first game is September 25th.
Everyone is welcome to join us it’s just we are in need of 2 low pointers, the lower the better.
Benefits of being the cheapest club in the country (we think) you get free playing vest with your name and number on it. We will be having weekday training specific for team, also a Sunday session. With the rest of our members in a fun community session. A great court in Windsor the home of our new King. All the benefits for disabled people are in place. We have chairs that can be resourced to you if you don’t have a chair. We are a great family club and all is welcome.

Today we welcomed this amazing young lady Isabella. What a lovely young girl with heaps of potential. She had an amazing day and is coming back to learn more about our illustrious game. Welcome Isabella look forward to helping you become the basketball player you want to.

This is Peter one of legendary players. Sadly two weeks ago he had a stroke and this is him today. Non verbal face drop and weak right side and hand doesn’t work. It don’t stop him he is so determined to get back to where he was. This is not the first time and he knows what to do. Peter keep up the hard work. Oh and he keeps doing marathons on his handbike and day chair. The man is a true legend.

Wheelchairs, walking aids, support cushions, sleeping aids, personal care products, warm clothing and essential day-to-day items that people may have had to leave behind are desperately needed - and you can help.

We’re heading into our div3 training session today feeling good after an awesome Windsor Monarchs Community Basketball session yesterday at ACS Egham International School.
We met some amazing people from within the basketball community who were so interested in what we do plus we finished with a bit of Boccia for fun. What a great team builder! We’ll be doing more of that !
