Our girls were in action this morning losing out to rushall village raiders.

despite some good performances they were beaten in their first league game, a few opportunities throughout but our only goal coming from last seasons top scorer Lily-mai with a great goal around the keeper to open her account for the season.

The girls have worked hard during pre season and will continue that on into training and go again ready for next week 💪

Player of the match was awarded to Flo for a dominant display, being strong in the middle in the face of pressure from the opposition attack and Working well within the defense to create a strong unit.

A good start to the season for our boys this morning beating silverdale Albion 6-2!

After losing over half our squad at the end of last season we had 6 new debuts out today, it took us a while to find a bit of rhythm giving silverdale plenty of the ball at the start. And despite going behind early on and being under pressure we held our own and continued the work we have put in during recent weeks and started to play some good football.

Ocean scored a rebound from taylens free kick, before silverdale were awarded a penalty, which was saved by our new keeper Charlie, who also saved the rebounds and kept the score leval, we took the lead and got upto 3-1 before silerdale found the net again, we managed to put the game to bed with another 3 goals to get our first 3 points of the season.

Man of the match was awarded to Lyle for a great performance full of confidence and getting his first 90 minutes in 🏆

Wishing the best of luck to both of our youth teams who kick of their seasons tomorrow morning 💙💜

We hope both squads have great seasons continuing the hard work and effort that’s Been put in through a tough pre season 💪

There will be Many new debuts tomorrow as we welcome a few new players and parents to the club too , we’re looking forward to seeing everyone get started and become part of our club 👋

Aswell as our new training sponsor Akron Security we also have a new name on show tomorrow is our new girls kit sponsor Walsh Funerals & Memorials, we’re excited to see the new kit in action as the girls style them out for the season.

As always Our match updates will be added after each Sunday evening along with our player of the match for both teams.

Thank you to Wolverhampton Trophy Centre for providing our of the match trophies for another season too, they look fantastic as always 🏆
