Apologises for the picture, but its a big Happy Bithday to the Old Wulfs U9s very own Virgil Van Dijk. Amelia joined us with training towards the end of last season and has been a rock for us since signing. She is such a credit to her family and hope she has had an amazing Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMELIA

Once again these girls have absolutely smashed it for commitment, effort and drive. To raise funds for the team we did a sponsored walk up the Wrekin, after this though feel the parents should have been sponsored not the girls 🤣 so much raised which will help this team progress even further then they already have. But also, how many teams can say they've had a training session at the top of the Wrekin

Happy Birthday to our superstar assistant manager Dips Patel. Been one of the main figure heads in the amazing progression of the girls. The woman is non stop, what with our girls team, 2 other daughters part of the Old Wulfs family, cricket, tennis, football and no doubt just while writing this she has probably signed up to another sport. Hope you have a lovely day from all the team and parents, get ready for some awful signing at the top of the Wrekin tomorrow 🔴⚪️❤️

What a team performance from Saturday. At one point we was worried the game wouldn't take place because of Storm Benjamin? But our girls wasn't going to be out done by a boy and they caused a storm themselves. Not happy with just scoring her first match goal, Erin brought the thunder and decided to get a hatrick. Evie not to be outshone brought the lightning for another hatrick, her first 🙌 Macy, and Darcy adding to the scoring with Orla completing the storm, as promised from training. Absolutely fantastic performance from the whole team, goals are always seen, but Mia, Kaycie, Avni, Harriet and Amelia stopped any flooding coming back our way. Captain Avni also stepping up to help a couple of the girls that took knocks or got upset. As each week, super proud of the girls.

As some of you may know, our U9 girls team is part of the great Old Wulfrunians who run a brilliant club. As a team though we do rely on funding to help us progress. Our aim is to create the best and happiest environment for our girls to enjoy their footballing journey. Last season we were helped with sponsorship from Polygon, Thornes Solicitors Amber Education which we were so grateful for. This season we welcomed Wright Electrical LTD. The idea we are using has been done successfully by multiple teams so thought we would give it a try. It is a normal football card, £25 per team. We are asking for either businesses or normal people. If your team is scratched off as the winner then you can nominate either a company or charity to be sponsor for our new training kit, logo on the tops. This will then be advertised every week on our page and shared by our parents. If a charity is nominated we, as a team, will also do several fundraising events throughout the season. If you are interested please comment with what team you would like, when it is filled I will then PM with bank details, when all funds are in I will then attempt live video to announce the winner. If anyone would like to sponsor for anything else for the team we have other options if you want to PM the team
