🦀💕 After 15 months the Crabbies are back !! Haven Hospices Southend Half was a great 2 looped course along the seafront, the sun was out & there was a lovely coastal breeze, I ran the 1st 10k odd with the girls but took advantage of my legs feeling good so ran the remainder solo, finishing in 2.05; the same as Hackney 4 weeks previous - now time for a week of lesser activity ready for R2TK !!

🏃‍♀️🫪🥴 Hackney Half ‘26 official race pics - although the pictures may not convey this, I was completely over it 2k in - just one of those runs that felt off from the off - I stopped at every aid station and drank as much water as I could get down my neck, ate sweets from every child in sight & even squeezed a gel through a pinned head sized whole but nothing seemed to help - the finish line could not come quick enough

🏃‍♀️ Hackney Weekender what a great 48 hrs !! 20,000 runners & god knows how many spectators yesterday - This event is quite an extravaganza, my 3rd time & it gets bigger every year, this time Harry took part & it was great that he could experience a mass event, Saturday was the community 5k & Harry smashed out a PB & Pauly even made a rare appearance!! great to see bringing the vibes 😅 and special thanks to 😉 fun times 🤩 🏃

🏃‍♀️🇬🇧 London Marathon 2026 - The one that has eluded me for a decade, funnily enough in the early days I wasn’t remotely intrested in doing the London Marathon ‘nope it’s not for me’ ‘I don’t need to do a massive event to know Iv run a Marathon’ blah blah blah, but as the years went on there was a rumble developing, it was the memories; the amazing coverage I had watched on the tele with my mum n dad, it filled me with desire ‘I do want this, I want to be a part of this incredible historic event’ & finally my day had come - there are simply no words I can use to describe the feelings which were felt on Sunday - it was simply pure magic & pure pain combined a feeling I will never forget - Thankyou Urban Runner & Thankyou London Marathon you were everything I had dreamed you to be & so much more 🙏

🏖️🏃‍♀️ They say life’s a beach, well it’s not when you’re running 3.2 miles on it 😩 and any ideas of doing ‘marathon de sables’ have been firmly put to bed ! Once in a lifetime is all I need to experience running when it comes to running on sand thanku v much (ok so i was wearing carbon plated super-shoes which didn’t help!) The hardest UK ParkRun ✅…..

🏃‍♀️🏃 Richmond Half, another long run / training run in the bag for me for London Marathon & Harry’s 3rd half marathon, I can’t tell you how proud I am of Harry, I never imagined my running would influence Harry in such away & am super proud that he is following in his ol’ mums foot steps; well I’m following in his as he’s super speedy !! Legs somewhat tired, only 2 more long runs left and then it’s showtime …….
