Do you know someone with a local business who can help our girls, support grassroots football and help local talent grow?

We are looking for a sponsor for our away/training kit for 2026/7 season.

Our sponsors brand will be pride of place on our away / training kit and your company will get regular shout outs on our growing social media channels and shared throughout the club.

Worcester City have big plans for the future growth of the club and you could be part of it as a key partner for our team.

These girls are amazing and will do you proud that’s for sure 💙🤍💙🤍

Get in touch for more details.

(Also smaller package available I sponsor our rain jackets - let’s face it they will get lots of wear during the football season!)

Individual Awards 2026

I think everyone found this a difficult task this season as the girls have been such a strong unit, but the following girls were recognised for their effort, talent and determination;

Parents player (& top goal scorer for the season!) - Zara
Zara has had an amazing season, working hard for every ball and taking every single chance she sees. She is one of the strongest players on the field, taking on opponents without fear and usually running rings around them. With speed and skill she has created opportunities in every game scoring some amazing goals along the way. Our top goal scorer this season and a hugely respected and popular member of the team.

Managers Player - Maisie
Maisie is our last line of defence in goal. Being a keeper can sometimes be one of the most difficult jobs on the field, but every week Maisie takes on this role and makes some pretty awesome saves. Maisie has been absolutely crucial to our success this season and has shown amazing commitment and a wicked sense of humour, a true star in everyone’s eyes.

Players player - Emily
Emily is one strong footballer and can confidently play anywhere on the pitch. She always has a smile on her face, is a pleasure to coach and has grown in skill and confidence this season. Emily will battle in defence and attack up front with equal success, exploiting gaps in the oppositions formation and taking every opportunity to move the ball up the field. She’s determined to make every touch count and is reliable and consistent in her performance each week.

Most improved player - Kailee
Kailee is another force to be reckoned with who works hard all over the pitch. She’s bold and strong going into tackles, she runs with the ball leaving her opponents standing and she has scored some cracking goals this season. It’s been great to see her development this season and to watch her love for the game really stand out.

Bring on next season!

Do you know any female players looking for a new team for next season? A few of our age groups have spaces so check out the details below.

Second half of the County Cup

Pressure from Harriers is instant and their striker breaks through, unleashing a fierce effort from the edge of the box that Maisie somehow tips over the bar. Outstanding save. Proper cup final goalkeeping.

Harriers continue to move the ball around comfortably though. City just can’t quite get close enough at the moment. The winger cuts back inside, shoots low and although Maisie gets fingertips to it, the ball agonisingly creeps over the line.

2-4.

That felt like a big blow.

Ball played down the City left and the winger is through once more, but Alyssa gets back brilliantly to poke it out for a corner. Excellent defending under pressure. The corner is cleared, briefly, before Harriers come again down the right and this time Malaykah hacks it away. Another corner. The Worcester defence currently holding together with determination.

Harriers are straight back at them again and through on goal once more, but Maisie saves brilliantly to force yet another corner. She’s keeping City in this almost single-handedly at times.

Another Harriers shot flashes wide as Worcester struggle to get out. It’s wave after wave now.

Then one final attack. A ball slipped through to the striker again and this time there’s no mistake the fun ish is clinical.

2-5.

And that is the final kick of the game.

In truth, Harriers were the stronger side today and probably deserved the cup in the end. But huge credit to the Worcester girls who never stopped battling, kept trying to play football and showed enormous character throughout.

Cup finals are cruel things sometimes.

But there is absolutely everything to be proud of here.

These girls never give up.

Their time will come!

Harriers 5 - 2 Worcester City

Half time update

Harriers 2 - 1 City

Straight from kick off, Ava charges down the Harriers defence, panic at the back, the ball breaks loose and Zara says “thank you very much”. One touch, composed finish, 1-0 to Worcester City and we’ve not even ticked over a minute.

As expected, Harriers respond immediately and begin piling pressure down the City right. Cross comes in, partially cleared, but it falls kindly to the striker who buries it low into the corner. Clinical finish.

1-1.

Harriers looking lively in midfield but City respond brilliantly. Corner cleared by the defence falls to Maisy, who sprays a lovely pass down the wing for Tippo. She tears the length of the pitch before whipping in a dangerous cross towards Ava, who can’t quite get it under control. Excellent football and suddenly City look dangerous again.

Kidderminster enjoying a spell of possession now and trying to thread balls through the middle, but Maisie in goal is alert to everything, sweeping up danger calmly. A really composed period from the City defence under pressure.

Then comes a cruel one.

A long Harriers ball splits the defence, the striker blocks the attempted clearance and suddenly the ball drops perfectly back into her path. One touch later and it’s tucked away.

Harriers lead 1-2.

City respond well again. Tippo breaks brilliantly down the right, drives into space and gets a powerful shot away that’s well saved by the keeper. That’s much better from Worcester.

City now beginning to pin Harriers back down that flank and they win their first corner of the game. Cleared away eventually, but this has been a strong final five minutes from the girls and the momentum is starting to shift.

And that’s half time.

Breathless stuff so far. City trail 1-2, but with the slope in their favour in the second half and signs they’re beginning to settle, this final is very much alive.

09/05/2026

It’s a big day for the City girls as they step out onto the impressive ground at Claines Lane for the Worcestershire FA County Cup against Kidderminster Harriers. Our second cup final this season!

So proud of this team 💙🤍💙🤍
