With deep sadness, we inform the cricketing community of Worcester, particularly those connected to TSL T20, that the funeral (Janazah) of Waseem Ali of Cornered Tigers will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 14/01/2026 at 11:45am at Tallow Hill Mosque, WR5 1JU 🕌.

Everyone is welcome to attend and pay their respects. Your presence and support will be greatly appreciated by the family and loved ones.

May he rest in peace, and may Allah strength and patience be granted to all who are grieving.

We began this fundraising within our local cricket team Cornered Tigers, the team where Waseem played TSL T20 for the past few years alongside his friends. After discussion, we felt the best way to honour him would be to turn this into Sadaqah Jariyah by donating towards the construction of a new mosque in Worcester in his memory.
Waseem was a young lad with a golden heart who left us far too early. We humbly request everyone to contribute—any amount, big or small, will make a difference and will be a source of continuous reward, Insha’Allah.
May Allah (SWT) forgive him, elevate his status in Jannah, and reward all those who contribute. Ameen.
