💗💗Happy Pancake Day 💗💗

Not every day are you going to feel amazing. Today is that day for me. Acknowledge that feeling and keep going. Today I put on about 4 different gym outfits and all of them felt tight and uncomfortable. I woke up feeling really bloated and tired. Today is a scheduled gym session and I’m sticking to it… because I want to. I prioritise rest days as much as training days and I don’t commit to anything unrealistic. When I’m at the gym today if I’m not feeling as strong as usual I’ll just do a lighter session. I’m grateful for having the privilege to move my body.

Wishing you all a very happy new year. Like me you may have kicked off your first Monday of the year with some healthy eating. Now whilst I’m eating healthy that doesn’t mean boring and I won’t be depriving myself of the things I love. I’ll just be making a more conscious effort to eat more nutritious foods. When I eat a lot of higher fat/sugary/greasy foods I feel sluggish and I get so bloated. So here I am making a Chinese fakeaway. Chicken chow mein with curry sauce. I used the mayflower one.

💗POST HOLIDAY BREAKFAST💗

Good morning! I have been on holiday and got back yesterday. I’ve eaten and drank amazing food but I am so ready to get back to my routine. Starting off today with Greek yogurt, raspberries, granola and some syrup. Normally I’d add some protein powder to my yogurt but I’ve ran out 😳 hence the calorie and protein content being a bit lower but the day Is young and I’ll make it up ☺️

💗LUNCH💗

It’s a soup and sandwich kind of lunch. I always make a soup when I’m trying to eat things up in the fridge. Except my soup maker died halfway through but I got there in the end. Todays sandwich (sorry close your eyes 😂😂) avocado ham and feta cheese. Strange combination but was actually sooooo good.

💗CHICKEN BURGERS💗

Tonight I had a big craving for chicken burgers. So I grilled chicken breast fillets that I coated in some Cajun spice, added lazy garlic to some extra light Mayo, tomatoes, lettuce leaves and red onion in a brioche bun. It looks small on this picture but I am so full. Always striving for my protein goal to help repair my muscles after heavy weight training.
