Last night, Seaton Athletic held our 2025/26 Presentation Night, and what a fantastic night it was! 🟠⚫️⚽️

The evening got off to a brilliant start with a bouncy castle and sumo suits, which the team absolutely loved! There were hot dogs and chips, great music, and a raffle that had everyone laughing. 😳😂 It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and having such a great time.

We also got to celebrate one of our team’s birthdays. Happy Birthday, Jack! 🎉🥳🎂 We hope you had an amazing day!

Presentation Night isn’t just about celebrating achievements—it’s also sometimes about saying goodbye to teammates who are moving on. Last night, we said goodbye and good luck to Theo, who won’t be with us next season. From everyone in the Seaton Athletic family, we wish you all the very best for the future. You’ll always be part of the Seaton athletic family. 💪🟠⚫️⚽️

Seaton Athletic are officially done with festival season 2026.

What a season it has been! Two festivals back-to-back really tested us, especially being placed in the top-banded groups. It was tough, but the team kept their heads held high, gave everything in every game, and I couldn’t be any prouder of every single one of them.

Our final festival of the season was today at Team Evie, and what a great morning for football! We played some fantastic football and battled our way to the semi-finals, where we were knocked out by our old friends, Workington Juniors White. Well played.

With our presentation night next week, we officially bring the 2025/26 season to a close.

Seaton v Workington

First friendly after the 25/26 season ended saw Seaton take on our old friends Workington Whites — and what an action-packed game it was! 🟠⚫️⚽️

A fantastic match full of hard but fair tackles, clean passing, and plenty of goals from both sides. Both teams put in a great shift today, finishing with an exciting penalty shootout.

A huge thank you to Workington for the invite — we hope to return the favour and see you again at Meadowvale soon! 🟠⚫️

MOM today went to George — a well-deserved achievement that’s been a long time coming. 🏆 Chosen by both Workington and Seaton coaches, George worked tirelessly in every position he played, but really stepped up when moved upfront, where he capped off his performance with a well-earned goal.

Well done George — keep up the hard work! 🟠⚫️🫡

Game 21 – Seaton vs Windscale

The final league game of the 25/26 season, and what a way to finish!

We started slowly in the first quarter, but soon found our rhythm. The team battled hard throughout, putting in strong tackles, showing great passing and playmaking, and creating plenty of chances in front of goal.

Our defence held firm under pressure, and our keeper was tested, but the team stayed composed and determined—coming away with a brilliant 5–4 win. What a game! ⚫️🟠⚽️

* Jack & Chad – Outstanding in defence. Solid performances from both, well done boys! ⚽️
* Theo – Put to the test today but stood strong in goal. Keep up the hard work! 🥅
* Sam I – Worked his socks off up front and earned himself a well-deserved goal. Great effort! ⚽️
* Alfie – Last week’s Man of the Match, and this week scored an outstanding goal no one saw coming. Brilliant! ⚽️💪

A hat-trick today, but that’s only part of the story. Sam worked tirelessly in every position he played. He was unstoppable up front, using his speed and control to put Windscale under pressure, and just as solid when dropping back into defence. A complete performance—very well deserved! 🟠⚫️⚽️🫡

Game 20: Seaton Athletic vs Maryport

10am kick-off for Seaton Athletic, and what an action-packed game it was! The weather stayed on our side, although the wind was wild 👍💨

From the first whistle, both teams came out strong, pushing hard for the win. There were some tough (but fair) tackles, quality long balls, and some brilliant goals from both sides. Unfortunately, it didn’t go our way this time, with the game finishing 4–5 to Maryport. Despite that, our heads never dropped — in true Athletic style, we fought right until the final whistle.

Man of the Match today goes to Alfie 🏆
Chosen by both the Maryport and Seaton coaches, Alfie was outstanding in every position he played. He pressed hard, tackled strongly, and showed great quality on the ball throughout. A fully deserved award — well done, Alfie! 🟠⚫️
