🐯 TIGERS TURN ON THE STYLE AT TREETON

Worksop Town Tigers produced another impressive display, combining high-intensity pressing with some superb attacking football.

A lightning start! Riley picked out Nico, who fired home to give the Tigers an early breakthrough.

⚽ 23’ | ISAAC
G9 whipped in a superb corner and Isaac found the space to convert. A deserved goal after causing the Treeton defence problems throughout the half.

The Tigers were excellent in possession, playing sharp one and two-touch football while attacking with pace and pressing Treeton with real intensity.

SECOND HALF
Treeton struck just a minute after the restart as the Tigers made a slow start to the half.

It took around 10 minutes for Worksop to regain control — but once they did, the quality returned.

N was an absolute handful today and a player the opposition defenders must fear!
She charged them down at every single goal kick, putting them under pressure from the moment the ball was in play.
She never stopped, never gave up and made herself a constant threat throughout the game. They say the biggest defence is your attack, and N showed exactly why with her relentless work rate and attacking intent. She capped off a fantastic performance with a well-deserved brace. ⚽️⚽️

🐯 U12s | Sheffield Rangers 3–2 WTJFC 🐯

Our U12s were on the road today for their first away fixture of the season!

It was an early start in Sheffield for the boys, but the game certainly didn’t disappoint, with plenty of physicality and some impressive goals.

The Tigers were unlucky to concede an early own goal and found themselves on the back foot for much of the first half. Going into the break 1–0 down, Sheffield Rangers continued to press us high up the pitch and managed to add two more goals.

With just 15 minutes to go, the Tigers fired up the attack, with Oscar and Corby linking up brilliantly. Corby kept his composure and slotted home two goals ⚽️⚽️ to give the Tigers hope.

The Tigers were suddenly on top and dug deep to find an equaliser, but unfortunately time wasn’t on our side.

It was impossible to separate the two today, with Bobby and Oliver both taking home the medals.

🧤 Bobby — unbelievable today in the net! So many super saves, we lost count. 👏

💪 Oliver — absolutely bossed the defence with confidence and composure, capped off with a wicked free kick from distance!

We might have just lost the game, but we won so much more today. The boys showed incredible character, belief and determination to keep fighting right until the final whistle.

Our U10s were back in action this morning vs Kiveton
Our boys started off very brightly causing our opponents issues but a sucker punch came when we switched off from a corner they dribbled round 3 players and drilled home. We then has chance to draw level as we were given penalty. Our boy struck it beautifully but the goalkeeper made a great save, we then got a life line and another penalty awarded which RH despatched perfectly into top corner, 2nd half we came out and a few early chance went begging then some sloppy play which the opponents capitalised on. This is how it finished but the result didn't represent how we played, a stellar cb performance once again from TP but today's halo hydration MOM went to our number 1. 🐅 OUR U12s ARE BACK IN LEAGUE ACTION!

What an outstanding first game of the season for the boys! 👏⚽️

From the very start, the boys showed drive, commitment and determination, creating chances and putting the opposition under pressure.

After going 1–0 down in the first minute following an unlucky deflection, the boys didn’t let it phase them. From that moment on, the Tigers pushed forward with wave after wave of attacks, eventually securing a dominant 9–2 victory! 🔥

A fantastic team performance, with slick passing, great movement and brilliant teamwork showing exactly what this group of boys can do. 💪
