☀️ Great day at Aston Park Fisheries for our Worksop and District Junior Angling match.
The team took on Stable lake for their final practice before the Nationals next week. While it was a lovely sunny day, the fishing was tough at times.
Huge well done to everyone for sticking it out and working hard.

🎣 What an incredible weekend on the bank!
Worksop and District Junior Angling practice match at Drennan Lindholme Leisure Lakes on the Strip.
A massive thank you to our brilliant sponsor, Worksop and District Angling Association Derek Brown Glyn Williams, for supporting the day and making events like this possible.
It was a proud moment for everyone involved seeing so many PBs smashed in a day. Every single angler did an outstanding job, but a huge shout out goes to our top 5 for bringing in some truly massive weights:

Today we were fishing for F1s, and although they weren't the easiest to tempt into feeding, it was a great day of learning, patience, and developing skills on the bank.
