A couple 4 panelled white veneer wood grain fire doors + gym workout the last couple days. Not a huge fan of the work, mostly due to the amount involved, with the van nearly empty of Tools (and yes including this one before anyone pipes up 😉)
Along with the calluses created with the arris edges picking up the 30kg load. 😅
It always makes it more challenging getting the margins around the perimeter right, working with a frame possibly twice my age, and even more wonky!
I thought the dado rail might catch the intumescent strip too much and make it difficult for the closer to operate. It didn’t. 🙌🏻👌🏻. Bo ya!
The other 4-5 fire doors will come at later dates.
Onto some repair and restoration work next! TBC.

26sqm of 14mm engineered oak flooring throughout hallway and into kitchen. Completed in January! MDF Ovolo skirting board and architrave replaced through the same area. Along with the newly fitted oak door and carcass to cover the electric metre.
Complete today as the painting had been done to the skirting & Architrave.
Additional shelf put in elec metre cupboard. ☑️
Separate shelf to cut for living room. ☑️
Last oak transition piece to lay. ☑️
Final varnish given to the oak door and top shelf.☑️
A clear sealant to finish off the job around the whole perimeter of the flooring. ☑️

Returning in a few months to replace the old kitchen storage cupboard with new full height, white sliding shaker doors! ☺️

Those jobs you believe to be straight forward, don’t always turn out to be that way. I have to admit that this did test me in a few ways. However and regardless of a couple minor setbacks (not involving COVID for once) I have fully enjoyed every process.
Using the new and the tenso P-14 clips to fit the carcass, American white oak door and shelf together.
The customers were really happy and complimented the work so that makes me ecstatic ☺️💪🏻👌🏻

A quick test Dry fit on this bespoke oak shaker door to go with a white carcass and a oak shelf, I’ve already made to cover an electric meter next week. ☺️💪🏻

A small picket gate, fence and post section to stop Willow eating anything further at the back of the garden where Her Mum and Dad can’t see.
She’s grown since I Last saw her (photo of her about 4 weeks ago, didn’t get another unfortunately) So we decided to take the height upto 1.2m instead of 900mm.
She’s still full of flurry adorable cuteness ☺️

Looking forward to this exciting job. A simple feature wall behind the Bed with a centre recess piece feature in a Deco coffee glass splash back. Switches, sockets and led lights in a brushed chrome/steel.
Using the new to pre make in the workshop/garage. All to assemble on site end of next week. 😊👌🏻More to follow.

Took a re visit back To see the fished oak glazed and panelled Suffolk doors. He’s done an awesome job of varnishing with a Ronseal Matt coat varnish.
Dave had asked my opinion on colour options and I suggested maybe painting the Architrave and skirting in white (or a colour of your choice) which will really enhance the colour and overall stand out of the oak doors. Which I can see he’s started the primer/undercoat already. 👌🏻
Also fitted a blind to one of the bedroom doors for him. Couldn’t say no. 🙄
A satisfied, happy, customer.

A lovely job involving 22.5sqm of New engineered 14mm oak flooring throughout hall way and kitchen, along with new Skirting And Architrave through the same area.
(Complete)!
Lastly will be a bespoke made cupboard unit with a bottom shelf with an oak Surface top with an oak shaker door to match those surrounding.
Using the jointer for that one.

5X oak Suffolk glazed & 2X flush oak Suffolk internal doors.
I look forward to seeing them once they’ve been Varnished.
