🎣 SIBFEST MONTHLY PHOTO CHALLENGE – WHO’S INTERESTED? 🚤👕🏆

Right everyone, I’m looking at getting Sibfest moving properly and turning it into something fun that everyone can be part of throughout the year.

The idea is to create a Sibfest Monthly Photo Challenge, with monthly prizes, points, a yearly leaderboard, with a main prize at the end of the year.

This won’t just be about fish catches.

Entries could include:

🌅 Scenic launch photos

👨‍👩‍👧 Family or junior angler photos

🔥 WhatsApp group meetup photos

🛟 Safety-ready setup photos

🏕️ Camping, van life or day trip photos

🤝 Anything that shows the proper Sibfest spirit

Each month there would be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, with points added to a yearly leaderboard.

The overall winner at the end of the year would receive the main prize:

To enter, members would need official Sibfest merch, either a Sibfest tee or hoodie.

Your tee or hoodie would need to be visible in your entry photos, either worn or clearly shown. This keeps it simple, fair, and gives everyone something official to show they’re part of Sibfest.

I’ve also contacted Railblaza about supplying fish measuring charts for Sibfest. If I’m able to get them, I’ll include them with the official Sibfest merch where possible, so members have a proper measuring chart to use for catch photos as well.

So winners can receive proper SIB, fishing and IBF gear they can actually use with their own setup, rather than being given random prizes they may not need.

You would not have to attend meetups to take part. You could go out on your own, with family, with a mate, or whenever the weather and tides allow.

However, because Sibfest is also about building the SIB community, there would be extra bonus points for members who attend official Sibfest WhatsApp group meetups, help arrange days out, share useful launch info, or get involved with the community side of things.

You’re welcome to join more than one group if you fish different areas, but meetup bonus points will only be counted once per outing to keep things fair.

I’m starting to get things moving for SIBFEST 2026, and the first step is getting more SIB owners connected across the UK.
The idea is simple: bring together people who enjoy fishing from small inflatable boats, share launch spots, talk setups, arrange meet-ups, swap advice and help more people get out on the water safely.
