As another football season comes to an end, we'd like to say a huge well done to every single one of our amazing Penycae U8 Girls. 💙⚽

What a fantastic season it's been! From the first whistle to the last, these girls have shown incredible determination, teamwork, resilience and a real love for the game. The progress they've made both individually and as a team has been amazing to watch.

This season has been full of memorable moments, including some fantastic tournament success. The girls reached 3 semi-finals and went on to win 2 tournament finals—an incredible achievement that reflects all of their hard work, commitment and never-give-up attitude. We couldn't be prouder of what they've accomplished together.

A huge thank you to all of our parents, families and supporters for your encouragement throughout the season. Whether rain or shine, you've been there every step of the way, and the girls wouldn't be where they are without your support.

Most importantly, thank you to our brilliant girls. You've represented Penycae with pride, passion and smiles, and you've made your coaches incredibly proud. Keep believing in yourselves, keep enjoying your football and continue being the fantastic teammates you are.

This weekend saw both teams at the Northop Hall Girls & Ladies FC tournament.

The Penycae team displayed exceptional football throughout the morning, demonstrating fight, togetherness, and determination in every game. With numerous wins and only one loss, they secured 2nd place in their group. Unfortunately, their journey ended in a fantastic penalty shootout and saw the finish in the semi-finals.

Penycae Blue, despite facing a challenging tournament with strong opponents and several draws, persevered and reached the conference League semi-finals. A closely contested match saw us score the sole goal, sending them into the final where again we scored the only goal of the game and won the conference League Cup.

Both teams should be incredibly proud of their performance today and the progress they have made. A big thanks to Northop for a fantastic morning of football. We go again in the next tournament in a few weeks.

Summer tournaments have started⚽️

First tournament of the summer completed today at NFA. Both teams, showed excellent team spirit, fight & determination but unfortunately fell to being knocked out in the semi finals. Plenty of potential & growth still to come over the summer💪
