Hey everyone!

I have the absolute pleasure of being selected to be part of the Ty Pawb open. I have entered my final Masters work, the Frankenstein church.

If you want to come along and see my work with others, the show is on at Ty Pawb art gallery in Wrexham from 15th October to 7th January 2023.

Come along and show your support.

Some photos from Oliver Stephen Photography of my Frankenstein church (2022)

As well as being an arthouse, the church contains a removable stained glass window pendant, two pairs of skull earrings in the graveyard and a secret piece of jewellery in the tower roof.

Not all the earrings I've made as part of the Frankenstein collection but a few with their larger grave counterparts.

It's all starting to come together. The tower is the last part of my Frankenstein arthouse.

There will be a small music box in the tower playing Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. You know the song;

The external church walls and deep within where Dr Frankenstein is constructing his monster.

It seems he has too many body parts at his disposal. Maybe he should've stopped the gravedigging whilst he was "a-head". 🤣😂

Anyways, I can't begin to tell you how tedious it was gluing in all the individual stones to create the textured walls. Tedious!

Photos of the graveyard in my Frankenstein arthouse piece.

This forms part of my final work for my Masters project where I blend my love of literature with my skills as an artist to tell part of the story of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein".

As well as the house, there will be removable jewellery elements, including a stained glass cloisonné enamelled window pendant, skull earrings and a skull and bone necklace.
