Full Time: Heworth ARLFC Girls U15s 24–0 Queensbury ARLFC

A hard-fought home win today against a strong Queensbury ARLFC side.

The final score finished 24–0, but the game was much tougher than the scoreline suggests. Both teams put in a huge amount of effort, with a few girls taking knocks on both sides, but everyone showed great determination and kept going right to the final whistle.

The Heworth girls are really starting to show the benefit of all their hard work in training. Some of the attacking plays coming together on the field were excellent to watch, and the teamwork, communication and confidence are improving every week.

Another clean sheet, another strong performance, and another step forward in what is becoming a fantastic season for the team.

Another huge performance from Heworth ARLFC Girls yesterday as the girls came away with a 56-0 victory over Queensbury ARLFC!

Massive effort across the pitch in both attack and defence, with the team working for each other from the first whistle to the last.

The hard work at training is really starting to show and the girls should be incredibly proud of themselves 👏

Last night we had an amazing turnout for the first under 13s Girls training session at Heworth Amateur Rugby League Football Club. It was great to see all 18 girls making new friends and being introduced to rugby league and their future team mates!

A brilliant, physical game played at a really high intensity from start to finish. End to end rugby, big carries, strong defence and some fantastic team tries. Massive credit to West Craven Warriors ARLFC who pushed us all the way and made it a proper contest.

Heworth ARLFC Girls Rugby are recruiting girls currently in school years 7 and 8 to join our new Under 13s girls team for the 2026 season.

No experience needed, just come along, have fun, make friends and learn new skills with qualified coaches.

Another strong performance from the Heworth ARLFC Girls Rugby U15s today as we travelled to Silsden Storm & Stormettes ARLFC for our fourth fixture of the season, coming away with a 36–16 win 💪🏼

We started fast and set the tone early, with Silsden Stormettes coming back hard in the second half. But the Heworth girls stood firm, showing real strength in both attack and defence to see the game out.
