Mum & Baby Fit – Strength for Motherhood 🌿
This class is designed to support your postnatal recovery through evidence-based, strength-focused training.
Babies are welcome in the space, they can play, rest, or simply be alongside you, but the session is centred around you, the mum.
The early months can be a time when your baby isn’t quite ready to engage with traditional baby groups, making it the perfect opportunity to attend something that benefits your body and wellbeing.
Mum & Baby Fit offers a supportive environment to:
💪 Rebuild strength and confidence post-birth
🧠 Focus on your physical and mental wellbeing
🤱 Connect with other mums who share similar goals

✨ I often get asked: “Is this exercise safe for me right now?”
*I’m not referring to the specific exercise in my video, this is just an example.
And my question would be, ‘how does it feel in your body?’
The truth is, exercises aren’t simply “safe” or “unsafe.” Sometimes we might need to make form corrections, adaptions or take variations, but the priority should always be ‘does this feel good to you?’
At different times in life—your menstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, or during illness—your body may need different things.
💫In my classes, I encourage you to:
🌿 Listen to your body
🌿 Move intuitively
🌿 Honour the stage you’re in
My goal is to give you the space, knowledge, and confidence to understand your body, so you can move in ways that feel supportive, empowering, and right for you today. 💜

Returning to exercise after a baby might feel exciting, but it also might feel scary and daunting.
Things feel different, things feel heavy, your body might not quite feel like yours anymore.
Once you get sign off from your health care professional you might be keen to get going, but it’s so important you don’t rush back to doing exactly what you were before.
Building the foundations will serve you down the line and can prevent future injuries and difficulties.
We focus on building strength in a progressive way, including focusing on breathwork, mobility and pelvic health.
The connection between your deep core, pelvic floor and breath is imperative at this point and it’s something we focus on at the start of every class.
Let me help you ♥️

Taking care of yourself sometimes means saying no—to the biscuit, the 2nd coffee, the glass of wine, or even the snooze button.
Self-care isn’t always indulgent; more often, it’s about discipline. It’s about making choices today that your future self will thank you for. That might look like heading to the gym when you’d rather skip it, or cooking a nourishing meal instead of ordering takeout.
Often, the most loving thing we can do for ourselves is also the hardest thing in the moment.
Learning what you truly need takes time. Some days, rest is exactly what you need—a lie-in, some stillness. Other days, it’s pushing yourself to get up and go for that run.
The key is learning to listen, and to know the difference.

I am so rubbish at sharing gorgeous pictures from class. This is little Marjorie just hanging out while her mummy trains 🏋🏼♀️ 💪🏼
Do you worry that little one might cry, get fussy, or need feeding during class?
That’s absolutely okay! Some weeks you might get a full workout in, other weeks you might have an extra weight attached to your hip.
Every mum in class knows what you’re feeling & going through. We try and make it feel relaxed and judgement free, so you can feel comfortable to be present on the days that feel tough.
