Horse and Pony Section Entries - The West Show Horse and Pony Class Entries

**🤔 Confused about the Pony Club Championships?**

This is only the **second year** that Guernsey Branch has been able to offer championship qualifying competitions locally. Our **Show Jumping qualifiers** took place in early June, but the **Dressage qualifiers** are still to come.

Here's a little more information if you'd like to come along and support our members while they're competing in England, or if you're interested in qualifying in the future. We'd love to see even more members getting involved and, eventually, have **teams of 3 or 4 riders** representing Guernsey Branch. Travelling and competing together as a team is a fantastic experience that builds confidence, friendships and team spirit.

**JCB National Championships**
📍 Offchurch Bury, Warwickshire
📅 **14th–22nd August 2026**

The National Championships bring together the best Pony Club riders from each Area across the UK. Guernsey members can qualify in **Show Jumping and Eventing from 90cm upwards**, and **Dressage at Novice, Intermediate and Open levels**. Competitors at the Nationals also have the opportunity to qualify for the **2027 Pony Club Dressage Home International** at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

**NAF Regional Championships**
📍 Bicton Arena
📅 **29th–30th August 2026**

The Regional Championships are the perfect stepping stone to championship competition, with Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing classes at **70cm and 80cm**.

**Mini Regional Championships**
📍 Bicton Arena
📅 **26th–28th August 2026**

The Mini Championships are a fantastic introduction to championship competition, with **Show Jumping up to 60cm** and **Dressage**. Members qualify for Show Jumping through Branch competitions, while Dressage can be entered directly (subject to eligibility).

📅 **Next up:** Dressage qualifying takes place on **Sunday 26th July**, kindly supported by the **Guernsey Dressage Group**. Qualifying places are available for the **National Championships**, **Regional Championships** .
