*Learning Theory:*
A learning theory is an organised explanation of how people acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours.

The major approaches include:
BEHAVIOURISM: Learning is explained through observable behaviour and environmental influences.
COGNITIVISM: Focuses on attention, memory, thinking and problem-solving.
CONSTRUCTIVISM: Learners actively build understanding from experiences and prior knowledge.
SOCIAL LEARNING: Learning can occur by observing and imitating others.
HUMANISM: Emphasises learners' needs, personal growth, autonomy and potential.
SOCIOCULTURAL THEORY: Examines how social interaction, language and culture shape learning.

CLASSROOM APPLICATION:
A teacher may use reinforcement to encourage punctuality, demonstrations to model a skill, group discussion to build understanding and reflection to deepen learning
