Afternoon All,
I apologies for the lack in communication recently, It has been a very busy time in Ghana for rugby over the last few months with Ghana coming 4th in the CAR tournament, losing in the semi final of the CAR Tournament to Burkina Faso the host nation, The team lost after a very tense 7 mins each way it was 5 all in normal time, in extra time no team scored meaning it came down to penalty drop goals, which unfortunately we were edge out on and Burkina Faso who won the game and the tournament. Ghana are currently on a brake and about to start training again potentially looking to play in the Safari Sevens in Kenya and also planning some friendly's in the next coming months.
I will updated you on this as we move forward
More big news in Ghana as there has been a new GRFU board elected, with the new president Mr Herbert Mensah. The GRFU board are currently in the middle of making a structure and plans for the next coming years to move forward to a far better and stronger ambitions.

Dear All,
Ghana Rugby had a very intense and physical training session this morning, we focused on on putting all the attributes of the game into a match situation, with having 3 teams playing in a round robin festival.
The CAR tournament is now only 14 days away and the lead up will be vital for us. We are moving into camp on the 10th of May, to pull the final squad together and work on the fundamental skills / drills etc.. which we have worked on over the last 4 months.
We thank you so much for all your support thus far!!!!!!!
Come and watch us training on Thursday 8th at Ghana University Pitch at 3PM !!!!!!!!!!
Kind Regards
