The world football governing body Federation de International Football Association FIFA is yet to make any pronouncement or release any statement regarding the petition submitted by the Nigeria Football Federation NFF over fielding of ineligible players by DR Congo in the 2026 WC playoff against Nigeria in November, 2025 in Morocco.
Nigerians are therefore advised to be a little bit patient and endure perseverance as FIFA may or may not rule in favour of Nigeria.
FIFA will release statements in a couple of hours.
