Ghana recorded an outstanding performance at the Japan Ambassador’s Cup, hosted by Ivory Coast in Abidjan as two of our judokas delivered medal-winning performances on the international stage.

The team was led by Lambert Gameli Fiazuku, whose leadership and guidance played a key role in the team’s success.

Dallas Awenyese (+100kg) showcased exceptional strength and skill to clinch the Gold Medal, standing proudly at the top of the podium.

Masawudu Ametepe (-73kg) also made Ghana proud with a strong showing, securing a medal in his weight category.

Together, the duo returned home with two trophies, reaffirming Ghana’s growing presence and competitiveness in international judo.
