*PRESS RELEASE*
Heart of Wolves Football Club Commends GDFF Gala Committee and Participating Clubs
Date: 15th September, 2025
Heart of Wolves Football Club wishes to officially extend its profound gratitude to Almighty God for granting us a successful gala tournament, from its commencement to its conclusion.
We also express our sincere appreciation to the executives of the Ghana Deaf Football Federation (GDFF) especially the President, Secretary, Treasurer, and PRO for their unwavering commitment and presence during the two-day event. Special commendation goes to the Gala Committee for their tireless dedication and organizational skills. Though minor challenges arose, these were managed and resolved effectively through the wisdom and collaboration of the GDFF executives and the committee.
We further congratulate all participating clubs for their discipline, dedication, and hard work in training and coaching players to make this tournament possible. In particular, we extend warm congratulations to Koforidua New Juaben Deaf Football Club for their outstanding performance and for emerging as the winners of this year’s gala.
As a way forward, Heart of Wolves Football Club respectfully recommends that future gala tournaments be scheduled over four days to allow all teams to play the standard 90 minutes. The current format of 20minutes halves left some clubs feeling disadvantaged, and a full 90minutes format would promote fairness and improve the overall quality of the competition. We are willing to contribute additional participation fees even above GHC800 to support the successful implementation of this recommendation.
Once again, we congratulate GDFF, the Gala Committee, and all participating clubs for their collective efforts in making this tournament a success. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that advance the growth and development of deaf football in Ghana.

Statement from Heart of Wolves Deaf Football Club
We are deeply proud of our players, staff, and supporters after a hard-fought journey to the quarter-finals. While the result was not what we hoped for, our team showed exceptional skill, determination, and unity throughout the competition.
To our fans and community: thank you for standing by us every step of the way. Your energy and encouragement mean the world.
This is not the end of our story only the beginning of our next chapter. We’ll learn from this experience, come back stronger, and continue to represent the deaf football community with pride and passion.
Heart of Wolves will keep fighting. Together, we rise.
